Excellent doctor full of knowledge and patience.

Review of Dr. Mazerai and her Practice I would strongly caution anyone considering Dr. Mazerai’s office. My experience as her patient has been consistently disappointing and, frankly, dangerous. Lost Medical Records: The office changed filing systems and completely lost my medical history. This means they no longer have a record of my care, including my miscarriage and pre-existing conditions. Inadequate Care: At my annual exam last year, the nurse practitioner (who has since left—like many others at this office) failed to perform a Pap smear despite my history of abnormal, cancerous cells. This is a serious oversight. Unacceptable Scheduling Practices: I proactively scheduled my annual well-woman exam months in advance for October 2025, only to be told today that Dr. Mazerai has decided to schedule a surgery on that date. I was then told the soonest I could be seen would be sometime in 2026. To leave a patient with pre-existing conditions without care for a year and a half is… inexcusable. Unprofessional Staff: The person who called to cancel my appointment was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. The lack of compassion or professionalism only adds insult to injury. Chronic Staffing Issues: The practice no longer has a nurse practitioner on staff, which speaks volumes about their inability to maintain qualified personnel. Patients deserve basic continuity of care, respect for their time, and a provider who prioritizes their health. Instead, Dr. Mazerai and her staff have shown negligence, disorganization, and disregard for patient wellbeing. I will not return to this office and urge others—especially those with pre-existing conditions—to look elsewhere for competent, reliable, and compassionate care.

I came to see her for a second opinion, she was super nice and explained what the previous doctor had not done regarding my procedure. She is great at she does and I was so happy I chose her as my doctor and my procedure was handled professionally and with out any problems. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Mazarei delivered my fifth child at Tri-City hospital. She placed me on bedrest during my 8th month and was very upfront about the risks if I left the hospital against her medical recommendations. I respected her persistence and professionalism. We discussed my care openly and she made sure I was taken care of to the best of the hospital staff's ability. She partnered with an excellent surgeon to perform my hysterectomy and everything went smoothly. My recovery was fast and the best yet.

This is my second visit to Dr.Mazarei's office and her receptionist Liliana is extremely rude . She keeped on typing while I was trying to speak to her . She was even playing on her cell phone and took her 10 min just to give me an appointment while playing on her phone!

This doctor saw me in the ED at Tri City Medical Center with a bleeding ovarian cyst. I had a large amount of internal bleeding and was not doing well. She had me in the OR, got the bleeder, and out. She did have to perform a laparotomy due to the unknown source of the bleed. She saved the ovary and I have since had a healthy child. My scar healed well in my opinion. Perhaps some people want a doctor who is going to pat them on the head and speak to them like a kindergartner. As a nurse, I think this doctor is doing what a doctor should be. I would rather have a doctor with a little bit of a dry personality who I know will be able to save my life when it comes down to it! Anyone can catch a baby. Who's going to make sure you're alive to take care of the baby when you have a hemorrhage. Thanks Dr. Mazerei. Always grateful.

This is my first pregnancy and was only my second visit with this doctor and it was the opposite of pleasant. The office put my appointment down as a postpartum appointment, the wait time was absolutely absurd as my husband and I waited for about 40 minutes to see the doctor. She seemed very rushed and didn't really apologize for the misunderstanding of the postpartum appointment. I had so many questions I wanted answered that I did not even get to ask her because she was rushing us out the door. The questions she did answer seemed as though she was annoyed at me asking and I should have already known the answer. The one good thing that came from the appointment was we were able to hear our baby's heartbeat, however only for about a second because then the doctor turned the tool off - nice, right? There were cobwebs all over the waiting room, it did not seem clean and the front office did not seem very friendly. The only reason we went back for a second time was to see if this… visit would be better than the first. All in all, I am looking for another ob/gyn because there is no way I am going back to this one - I'm bewildered as to why she has such a high rating. I would do more research if you're thinking of going to this doctor and try to find another one.

I LOVE Dr. Mazarei and her staff. She does talk fast but really is that a big deal? Not in my opinion. She delivered my son and I had the best experience I could have asked for. If it's this easy to have a baby, I'd have one every year! She really knows what she's doing.

this doctor almost performed a procedure on me that was unnecessary, and could have potentially really messed up my life and my health! I left the office after I discovered them trying to cover up a serious mistake they made concerning my yearly exam, and decided to get another opinion. I was informed by a better doctor (scripps obgyn) that the procedure she wanted to perform was outdated and could have caused even worse complications with my condition. She was also very vague and cryptic. WORST DOCTOR EVER!

This is my opinion: I felt very RUSHED my first appointment. I decided I would still give her a chance and continue to see her because I know how hard it is to get comfortable with a new gyno. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that perhaps maybe she was just busy that day and I don't like to make bad judgement based on one incident. Well, she called me with the test results and left a VERY rushed message on my voicemail for a few seconds. the voicemail didn't even last 1 minute. She was talking so fast, I barely understood what was said on the voicemail. I STILL wanted to give her another chance and i returned her call regarding the results. She hardly answered my questions, and if she did, she spoke so quickly and didn't explain anything. She didn't seem too concerned with my concerns. Dr. Mazarei pretty much just rushed me off the phone. After talking to her on the phone, I had more questions than answers and was left feeling confused. The only good statement I have of her was that… she was gentle when examining me. However, that SHOULD be the standard for all gynecologists anyways. She had many opportunities to convince me she was a doctor who I could trust and go to: the rushed first visit, leaving me a rushed voicemail, talking to me on the phone and rushing me out. I concluded that I did not want to be treated this way every time I saw and spoke with her. Needless to say, I immediately switched doctors.
