Dr. Raigan Adrian Burkall-Lewis, MD

Dr. RBL is an excellent doctor! She is extremely smart & knowledgeable, and at the same time she is warm and caring and very down to earth. Her demeanor alone made me feel immediately comfortable. She is thorough and empathetic, and always ensures I understand the information she is sharing. She is very patient and understanding. I've recommended her to family and friends.

Some background info: I’m a pre-med student at GVSU with a BA in philosophy from MSU, minors in bioethics and sociology. I really liked Dr. Burkall-Lewis when we met. I liked her throughout the entire appointment and felt that she really cared. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin at her practice. The moment she walked out of the room she began gossiping about me to her medical assistant and revealing personal details about my health. I revealed intimate details about my daily struggle with asthma, depression, and aspergers that she immediately gossiped about. On the other side of that thin wall, she also complained about how long our appointment lasted... as if it was my fault that she sat there complacently listening to my health concerns. I feel completely vulnerable and will not return to her office ever again.
