Dr. Raj Athi Narayan, MD

Dr narayan is an imposter, masquerading as a psychiatrist. He's a fake and should not be practicing. He is arrogant, doesn't listen to what what you are saying and is unprepared for his session. He changes your diagnosis after talking to you for less than 5 minutes. He makes assumptions about you that are not true. He needs to be let go.He is the one who needs to see a psychiatrist because he is nuts.

Save yourself some time and just go to someone else.. He's arrogant and unfriendly. Very hard to talk to, and feels like you constantly have to explain yourself to him. I saw him for 1.5 years and the last straw was when I didn't realize I had a co-pay overdue and when he told me I asked him to invoice me to my email, so that I could take care of it right away. He proceeded to let me know, how it wasn't going to be "pretty" if he didn't get paid that night. I didn't know making threats at your clients was the new thing...

Dr Narayan is the only psychiatrist that has ever taken the time to discuss my feelings about medication and my mental health. He explained my options regarding medication and made me feel like my opinion and input mattered to him. He spent time explaining side effects and benefits and he wasn't pushy about treatment.

Raj Narayan is professionally incompetent and should not be allowed to practice medicine. He ignored my medical history, ignored other applicable information I provided, did not return phone calls, and couldn't even answer simple questions. When asked what the different classes of anti-depressants are, he looked it up on Wikipedia and read Wikipedia to me! Yes, I sat in Raj Narayan's office paying for him to read Wikipedia to me about something that is very basic to his specialization. There are so many other things wrong with this guy as a professional, but that should give you enough to know to stay away from him. DON'T go to him. He doesn't deserve one star. Raj Narayn should NOT be practicing medicine.

The guy is arrogant and is totally into himself.
