I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010. My local drs recommended radiation and chemo. My urologist said he knew of a dr in Chapel Hill, Dr Pruthi, who might give me a second opinion. After looking at my biopsy results, he said that most men my age (62) have the same small nodule of cancer and he recommended waiting. My PSA didnt take off until 2018, at which time Dr Pruthi removed my prostate. As of last month (Jan 2020) my PSA remains “undetectable”. After I was diagnosed with cancer I did my homework to find the best. After I met with Dr. Pruthi and his team I understand why he has a tremendous reputation. He is a compassionate, involved surgeon. My outcomes have been superb and my cancer outcomes couldn't be better. I recommend him most highly.

Dr. Raj Pruthi is the best medical professional I have ever delt with in my life. From the time I first met him until my RALP surgery for prostate cancer last week, the interaction with him and his staff has been extraordinary. Everyone put me first as a patient and gave me there complete attention. Everything was spelled out. Every appointment was reconfirmed a couple days before.
