You need an Orthopedic Doctor because of a knee with bone-on-bone rubbing and causing extreme pain? The first Orthopedic doctor I chose turned out not to be a good fit for me. I researched Ortho Doctors by checking Education/Surgery Skills. That is when I decided on Dr. Raj Yalamanchili at Upper Chesapeake Hospital as my surgeon. He made me comfortable until it was decided surgery was necessary. I made that decision and am now 3 months post-op from a Total Knee Replacement. I was impressed with Dr. Raj’s surgical skills and he was impressed with my recovery progress. He was a blessing in my life. I would recommend him to family and friends. His office staff is efficient and helpful getting all the pre-op exams accomplished. You owe it to yourself to check out Dr. Raj when looking for an excellent Ortho Surgery. Do your homework.

I visited Dr Yalamanchili for a second opinion for my right knee. The doctor had xrays taken and explained to me On the X-ray what the issues and concerns are. I had a total knee replacement and have been almost pain free from day one. Its been 7 weeks since my surgery and I’m very pleased with the replacement I received from Dr Yalamanchili. I saw Dr. Raj Yalamanchili for a second opinion after my original provider delayed me from Feb to Aug 2019. I needed total hip replacement due to severe arthritis (bone on bone). Dr. Raj listened attentively and completed my surgery n Oct. His staff did a great job guiding me through all the medical clearances. He uses robotic-assisted surgery and I have had no problems or complaints. I can't say enough about the doctor and his staff. Great job all around!

Excellent physician and surgeon. Listened attentively, offered several solutions before the inevitable knee replacement surgery. The surgery went off with out any problems. The staff at Upper Chesapeake Heath were very responsive.

Dr Raj performed a left total hip replacement on me during COVID as an outpatient. I am extremely pleased with my results. No pain after the initial 24 hours and I healed very well. I highly recommend this doctor as he is straightforward and very competent

I recently had bi lateral knee replacement. I have recovered very well and Dr Yalamanchili has been great. I would recommend him to anyone looking at surgery. His bed side manor has been great and his concern for his patient is also very good. He has made this surgery very successful for me.

I chose Dr. Yalamanchili to perform a right hip replacement after a lot research and talks with doctors I am familiar with. I am so glad he was the one I chose. Although elderly, I have never had any type of surgery performed before. Not only did he my anxiety about the surgery but my recovery time has been beyond my and my family's expectations.
