Dr. Raja Ramesh Talati

While my visits with Dr Talati were wonderful, the way they handled the "decommissioning" of HMO insurance was POOR. I loved Dr Talati, and I actually felt comfortable going to the doctor and discussing my concerns. I called to ask a question …. They said “we no longer take HMO Insurance. They said they sent out notices … let me tell you, THEY NEVER DID! There are 3 of us in this family that see Dr Talati – different addresses + different last names …NONE of us received the advisement NONE!!! Then they told us they would have told us at the checkout window at the last appointment … NO THEY DID NOT! If they had then why would we have scheduled an appointment?? And his Medical Assistant "Tay" you leave her messages and she does not call back and she is rude and pretty much told me I was a liar, no sympathy for my medical situation that I needed addressed - It’s like they dont care anymore! I tried explaining my medical issue with “TAY” (Dr Talati’s Medical Assistant) and she implied… that I was lying … that we were told. No, I wasn't, if I was then why would an appointment have been made?!?!?! I can see if one of us did not get the notification, possibly 2 … but all 3 of us??? That means you never sent a notification out. Nor was I advised at my last appointment . She was rude and gave me a hard time ... all I wanted to do was address my concern and advised I would make an appointment with another doctor … but she did not care, she said “ he won’t help you cause he doesn’t take HMO insurance anymore … where is the caring in the medical field? It’s too bad that there was not better care taken in the transition and decommissioning of the HMO insurance … I would have expected more of Dr Talati’s staff. Dr Talati - I would rate a 5 star, but the staff and handling of this situation is why they get a 1 star

He's my PCP and I am so glad to have him as my doc. He's easy going and you can feel comfortable around him ty Doc

Dr. Talati is the Attending Physician of the Heart and Family Health Institute Residency Clinic. He oversees the work of the residents, one of whom, Dr. Sarah Cleckler, D.O. is my physician. He is highly knowledgeable and compassionate in all of his interaction. He and Dr. Cleckler have made a great team in working to maintain my quality of health. He is patient and takes the necessary time to explain my medications and how to best maintain my health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Talati for 12 years and could not be more pleased with the care received. Now I have the added benefit of an excellent Resident as well.

He is friendly, makes you feel welcome, jokes with you. I love his bedside manner. He answers any questions I have, and takes his time with me and my family. I have been going to him for 10 years and love his office and staff. Its hard to get them to answer the phone, but be persistent...

I ALWAYS LEAVE MY VISITS WITH DR. TALATI WELL INFORMED. HE IS VERY THOROUGH WITH HIS CHECK UPS AND GOOD AT EXPLAINING THE DIAGNOSIS, THE MEDICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP. HE ALSO IS A GOOD LISTENER AND ACTS ON ANYTHING I COMPLAIN ABOUT. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWS HIS CRAFT WELL!

Dr. Talati has been my PCP for 10 years now. He is extremely conscientious and thorough and has always been accurate in his diagnosis. I love that he is very straight-forward in his conversations, has a great personality, and manages to make me feel like I am the only patient in his busy office. He has been there for me through a serious heart condition and breast cancer, and has always guided me in the right direction. I am thankful that I chose him to be my PCP.

I have been treated by Dr. Talati for almost 10 years now. He is an excellent doctor and very patient.

This Doctor is one of the best. Compassionate, informative ,good people person all around. I have sent many people to him and they too were very happy with the results.
