I switched to Dr. V. around week 19 of my first pregnancy six years ago and have had the best experience. When my husband and I found ourselves in need of fertility treatments for our second pregnancy, Dr. V. recommended a specialist who was able to help us achieve our dream of having another child. As before, Dr. V. and her staff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I entered the third trimester of my pregnancy during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was anxious about going into public for appointments and delivering at the hospital. Dr. V. took every precaution and made me feel safe and cared for during my bi-weekly and weekly appointments. When I went into labor a few days before my scheduled cesarean, Dr. V. called me back immediately and delivered our second child within hours of arriving at the hospital. Now, giving birth during a global pandemic and with all the restrictions is nerve wracking, but Dr. V. and the entire team at Union were amazing. We had… the best experience and couldn’t ask for a better doctor or team to take care of us. I would 100% recommend Dr. V. to anyone and give huge kudos and thanks to her and the Union staff for doing such an amazing job.

Dr V is negligent and refuses to admit wrongdoing or misdiagnosis. The office stinks and appears run down. The staff seems very disorganized. I chose to continue my pregnancy with a different OBGYN and was thankful for that decision.

I was scheduled for a full hysterectomy with Dr V. After doing some research I scheduled a consultation with another DR that specializes in robotic surgery. When I called the office to get my records for my second opinion I was told If I get a second opinion I would no longer be allowed to be a patient of hers and she would cancel my surgery. After the way I was treated I canceled and said I wouldn’t be back. Anyone that denies you a second opinion isn’t the DR for you. I should have taken the reviews seriously.

Everything was great until halfway through my pregnancy when she started criticizing my weight gain. First pregnancy and I went from 146-192 the day I went in to deliver. She would make me feel so bad and disgusted with myself because of it. Then came the day to deliver and I pushed for almost 3 hours before she realized my pelvic bone was flat so I would have to have a cesarean. My son came out with a giant bruise on his head as well as a popped eye blood vessel. Made the best day of my life very traumatizing.

I have seen Dr. Venkatesh for both of my pregnancies and for my annual exams. She truly cares for her patients and is extremely knowledgeable in woman’s health. I recommend her to everyone!
