I have used this doctor and referred many people to him over 10 years. He used to always prescribe medication like Amoxicillan first sign of my sore throat as I used to get strep a lot and diagnosed just fine and the wait time was minimal. Its been a while since I had to see him seeing I use the VA hospital now but I referred my daughter there. She had been coughing and congested with a bad sore throat for over a week and so I sent her to him on a Friday. She doesn't have insurance. She was there 6 minutes she said and he charged her $65 and didn't prescribe anything and sent her on her way saying go buy Zirtec making it seem it was allergies. SERIOUSLY? I was shocked. She was very upset which is understandable seeing there is an epidemic going around this country. She bought the medication at Walgreens and still after 4 days she was bad coughing and now her chest was hurting. I called him in morning to ask for him to prescribe and the assistant said he wouldn't and asked for my… daughters phone number for the nurse to call her seeing she was an adult so I gave it to them. By 3:30 I called them and I asked if they had called her. They said no they tried to call me. I was like "WHAT?". I didn't get a call. "Why, you said you would call her". They said, "We don't have her number'. I said "I gave it to you. What is going on in your office?" I finally was fed up and said I am appalled with how they acted and will never refer anyone to him and I will never use this doctor again. The assistant was rude and hung up on me. REALLY? NEVER AGAIN and now I caught what she had and have been coughing for over a week with sore throat and congestion. THANK YOU DOCTOR for not doing your job.

One of my favorite family practice doctors. Super friendly, doesn't rush to see next patient, always seems to be able to fit an appointment in if I'm sick.

Dr. Yalamanchili is the best of the best in family practice. He is my doctor for more than 15 years. The practice staff treats you as family, providing 110% of services.

Dr. Yalamanchili is caring and considerate, w/ a gentle demeanor. He's a good listener, and takes the time to explain things. He spends plenty of time with his patients, w/o making others wait too long. His staff has always been courteous, efficient, and helpful.

I went in to see Yali and he diagnosed my high high blood pressure, great...gave me helpful medication, great...my initial appointment and follow up appointment i explained to him i had major headaches(he said it's from stress)...upon explaining to Yali my headaches both appointments he interupted my explanation and said that the meds for my blood pressure should help resolve. It has not resolved the major headaches. I read to in the medication info that previous versions of this med could stop the headaches but this kind does not and it is commonly mistaken that it should stop the headaches. Another symptom i have is being anxious along with the headaches, he said, and i quote, "we'll worry about that later." He has been my doctor for years, also works with my parents and does great. I haven't gone to see him in 10 years b/c i lived in another city but now that i am back and went to see him after all this time i can not trust him b/c he did not take the time to not only listen but… tell me he'll worry about my other symptoms later. I am immediately switching to another Dr. i will say he is excellent with young children and older adults.
