I had a 2 part surgery on May 14 & May 16, which I had 13 screws and 3 spacers, rods placed in my spine. It’s such a relief to have 21 years of back pain, GONE! Each surgery is different. Mine was intense and I would do it over just to have the pain relief! Dr. Arakal’s hands are blessed by God!

Extreme lower back pain for a year & a half, it caused severe pain in my leg & back spasms that knocked me to the ground frequently. Dr. Arakal was very patient, & was willing to go forward with all conservative treatment to find me relief. Unfortunately, my back didn't respond to them. He went forward with a 360 spinal fusion in Oct 2018. I cannot describe the feeling when I finally woke up with no pain after so long. His team has been so kind & if I ever need anything I know I can call.

My husband had a kyphoplasty done by Dr. Arakal several years ago. His pain never got better. We found out after seeing several other physicians that too much cement was placed in my husband's back, and the OR was too hot at the time it was done. Therefore, we were told (and have pictures to prove it) that a whole lot of the cement leaked out and my husband's aorta wrapped around it, making it impossible now for him to have back surgery safely. He is in constant, daily pain, and is only 48 years old. We found out way to late to do anything about it, but we would not recommend this doctor to anyone!

Dr.Arakal gave me life out of the wheelchair,and waker. I have a Titanium spine cage. If I have any problems I go to him for a a ajustment and he will take care of any thing needing mending! God gave me life when I had lost all hope of enjoying walking around in store,threaters, dance waltz. Don't give up hope let him see your body an it's problems. He is honest, if he does not feel he can take care of the problem to his and your satisfaction, He will say so! He will try to work with another doctor who togather they can help you! Dr. Arakal is the best. I put my life in Dr Arakal's hands and have no doubt that I chose the most qualified and caring spine surgeon on the planet. For such a busy office, I have never had a long wait. Everyone on Dr. Arakal's staff makes you feel important and never rushes through any procedure or paperwork. I only wish you had more stars to click.

After 2 cervical fusions in little rock ark I was told that I had 10 herniated discs. 5 of which was thoracic discs there was not a dr in arkansas that would accept my case, and yes I did have good insurance. I found the back institute and dr stalls online made a appointment and made the 6 hour trip after several tests I underwent thoracic back surgery he went in through my back put in 2 rods and plates and screws. We expected a 5 to 6 day stay surgery was done Thursday I came home on Saturday that Monday morning I walked a mile and have been doing so everyday since without a walker. He has been a blessing from God to me. No more pain I have my life back. In my opinion he is the best, if you have to wait to see him it is because he is the best, he handles lots of emergencies. Please be patient he is worth a wait.

I had an appointment, they told me to come 30 minutes early for paperwork. After an 1 hour of waiting in the waiting room, and 1 hour of waiting in a 10x10 room, I left. To top things off they didn't know how to refund my $30, which was paid, BEFORE SERVICES RENDERED.
