I was prepped for minor out-patient surgery shortly after I arrived.

Absolutely feel Dr. Mackkenchery is a great assest to the WellSpan Health System. Shows compassion, and care beyond which promotes a sense of trust and belief in the organization.

Don't expect post-op pain control. They don't even give you a single pain pill post-op. Be ready to scream the whole way home.

Be ready for uncontrolled post-op pain because he will send you home with a recommendation for ibuprofen (even when contraindicated) and acetaminophen (fever reducer). My wife had surgery with him. He cut corners (like failed to do a CBC the morning of the surgery that her hematologist asked for; this resulted in he waking up covered in blood) and will give you nothing to control post-op pain. Also, he did a terrible job lining up the incisions (he was running late and already had complications), which will result in two horrific scars on her chest. Also, don't bother calling the on call or going to the ER, they'll just torture you without doing a darn thing about the pain. At the pre-op appointment, he'll come of very nice and seem like a good doctor, he's a great actor.

He was wonderful! He assessed my issues, performed a procedure and surgery and I was totally confident and content with his service and work! I see him next week for another procedure and I am content as well. His office staff is amazing as well! Thank you Doctor Makkenchery!
