Dr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, MD

It's after 11am, and he only walks in after 10:30 when there were people who had a 9am appointment! Can we get compensated for time wasted in this place? Like we don't have lives to lead. This place is crowded with people who show up for their appointment before he does. That is sheer arrogance and no one should waste time here (like we have).

Dr gupta, is awesome. I've been seeing him for 4 years, never had a bad experience with him. He's punctual, kind, compassionate, patient, and he's very knowledgeable. He's soft spoken and answers all your answers. He doesn't rush you out the door like some doctors do. He's the best I will always go to him for anything! Sometimes you have to wait a little while to see him but that's only because he's taking his time with his other patients which I don't mind because when it's my time to see him he gives me his attention.

I want to start by saying that I am New Jersey based licensed registered prof Nurse (RN). My mom is a patient of Dr. Gupta and has lately been experiencing a terrible back pain. Dr. Gupta had ordered an x-Ray for her which Was done 4 days ago. My mother doesn't speak English too we'll because of which she asked me to call the doctors office to confirm that the reports were in and to schedule an appointment for her. When I called the secretary answered the phone and upon inquiring about the X-ray report. She puts me on hold and next thing the doctor picks up the phone and tells me that he can't discuss the report me over the phone. My reply to that was gently apologizing and telling him "I am sorry doctor. I am not sure why my call was transferred to you. I just called to ask if the reports for in." Doctor's reply to this was "your call was transferred because you are calling with an idiotic question". I could hear him yell at other patients when I had called back to speak to him. I… couldn't believe my ears. I don't think my question was idiotic in the first place and even If I was a patient or a relative with an idiotic question. It's your responsibility to answer your patient and there is no way you can call your patient question as "idiotic". He hung up the phone and refused to come in the phone afterwards. My mom never felt comfortable with him and always complained that he was rude to her but the only reason she was seeing him because he speaks Hindi. If you want to save your or your parents self-respect, please don't see this doctor. If you are already his patients please speak for your self and don't let this doctor behave rudely to you. In my view he should give up this profession which requires a lot of compassion. Zero stars from me.

Dr Rakesh Gupta is very professional and very well experienced .My Treatment with Dr. Gupta is very accurate and I get quick relief with all Medical issues, with his Prescription.Highly Recommended.
