Dr Patel, nurses, VGO provider for and support team members all very professional and attentive. All were very caring and good listeners who responded with a very sensible plan to help me.

Stay away from Dr. Patel and his staff. If you actually want to see the Doctor then this isn’t the place for you! I have 3 visits with PA’s and on my fourth visit finally saw the Doctor. Between being seen by PA’s and the Doctor they have changed my treatment three different times. Regarding the front desk team they can only be described nicely as horrible to deal with as the will give you the run around and also making an appointment a nightmare. I knew when I needed to stop going to this group was when I was provided a prescription and it was incorrect. I got with the staff and the insurance company and put it writing what needed to be correct. It took THREE times and it still didn’t get corrected. The FINAL last straw was when I asked to have the Doctor call me and when that finally happen after multiple request he didn’t want to help but he wanted to tell me that he doesn’t speak to patients on the phone, that I would need to make an appointment. This is a practice by his team… to make money…. Bottom line. After telling the Doctor I have seen you guys enough over a few months he said that I’m not fit to be his patient. This Doctor has lost his passion and drive for why he got into the medical work. He DOESN’T care about helping people but he is only going through the motions to make a living. So sad!

Great doctor. Met him today as I’ve been very worried about some symptoms I’m having. He gave me a treatment plan. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Look forward to going back.

Dr. Patel and his team are amazing. Not a long wait in the office and they've helped my healthy so much. I started with a 12 A1C and he's got me to a 7.4. Great Doctor to add to your health team!

Dr. Patel is amazing! He's kind, funny and very, very smart. I am doing so much better under his care it's like night and day! Yes it's hard to get an appointment and you have to just keep calling -- but seriously it's so worth it!! His Nutritionist is awesome too. I'm so grateful to have found a Doctor of this caliber.

It took me almost four months to get an appointment with DR. Patel, after all that time my medical records from the Bahamas were sent to his office and by the time of my appointment the records were lost, The next appointment after the lab sent the report Dr, Patel's office one more time the office lost the results for my lab work. Even I had been seen by Dr. Patel in the past I was not able to been seen by him because they considered me as a new patient and new patients need to be seen first by other doctor before Dr, Patel, Really bad experience. Still looking for a good endocrinologist.

I went to Rakesh Patel because he was referred to me by his wife, Neha Patel, who is a psychiatrist in the same offices with him. I had been a patient of hers for about 2 years for ADHD and she was ok, but I had also had some minor issues with her. So, I made an appt with Rakesh Patel. On my 1st appt I spoke to him for about 5 minutes; then he sent me to his assistant. His assistant spent all of the time with me talking about my history, what tests they intended to do and what they would be doing bloodwork for. On my 2nd appt. I had with Rakesh Patel I was sent to his assistant to get the results on all of the tests I had taken on the 1st visit. His assistant then sent me to him to get the bloodwork results. I went into his office to get the results from him, and right away I felt that he was very unprofessional and discourteous. Here I am, a new patient, listening to him give me the results, and he is leaned back in his chair with his legs crossed on top of the desk, and his… arms crossed behind his head. I thought to myself, is this guy for real? He came accross to me as very nonprofessional and nonchalant as he was telling me that I probably had a small tumor on my pituitary gland, and that I had thyroid issues, among other things. I left that office not knowing whether to laught at him and his arrogance, or cry about my health issues. Of the 2 visits I had with Rakesh Patel, his assistant did all of the work. I spent maybe a total of 15 minutes with him. I decided at that moment that I was definitely going to another doctor. I'm glad I did. He had missed something on my bloodwork that was very important, and critical to my health. In fact, the other doctor wondered how he could have missed what he did. I thought to myself, why does this office need him? Given his unprofessionalism, and (now I know) misdiagnosis is he really a doctor? So-called doctors like him are one of the reasons I have a real difficulty looking for a good doctor. I also had problems that some of the other reviewers had. I could hardly ever get ANYONE on the phone, and if I was lucky enough to, I left messages with no return phone calls. I also had problems with the billing department. Needless to say, I did not go back to see him, and subsequently found another psychiatrist instead of his wife. I think that it is so dishearting that these people do not understand that without us as patients, they would not have a practice at all. They forget that THEY are the ones that are supposed to provide an important service to us. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE PROVIDERS; but they are very, very poor examples of what they are supposed to be and they don't understand the concept. We as patients should be able to find a doctor that we can trust and build a relationship with. I would Never recommend Rakesh Patel to anyone.

Amazing, today I recieved a letter because I voiced my frustration about never getting refills on time, never getting one call back, have four people on this board agree with me, this office actually wrote me a letter to dismiss me as a patient. Oh and deleted my comment. I am an office manager myself and with this kind of customer service, this staff would be fired in a heart beat. I will be glad to also comment on yelp and any other public forum the service you will get here. As I stated again, I will no longer come to a practice where they clearly have no idea how to treat patients or handle wrong doing. The manager Gloria jaramillo sent me the letter instead of trying to resolve the matter. Gloria from one manager to you pretending to be one. Work on your costumer service skills instead of cowering behind a letter. No call was placed once. Beware people.
