We were originally with another urologist within the network however he was injured and refereed us to Dr. Patel. Best referral ever. Our son had to have kidney surgery and Dr. Patel did a great job. He also came out and filled us in and showed us picture of what he did. He made sure we understood and then talked and filled our son in later. Great bed side manner. My son had complications afterwards and Dr. Patel has followed up and referred us to other professionals that are very good also.

This doctor has delayed care for me twice and I warn you to be cautious seeking his care. When I was post-op I was urinating blood, he was consulted by my surgeon to find the reason. Dr Patel brushed me off saying it was probably due to trauma from the catheter. A year and a whole lot of pain later, it was discovered my bladder had perforated. I underwent so much unnecessary pain and suffering because he failed to assess properly.

What I like about Dr. Patel is that he explains all the details and gives you the risks however minimal so you know what might possible happen post surgery. I trust him as my other highly reputable doctors trust him.

Dr. Patel seems to be a good doctor, but the Winter Park office is not so good. I arrived on time for my appointment, but waited over an hour to be seen. Another appointment was rescheduled by the office, but they did not return my calls when I asked to get my prescription refilled. I called the office and sometimes they don't pick up the phone or have an answering machine. It's not a good office and I won't go there again.

Dr. Patel has saved my quality of life in so many ways. He has gone out of his way to do the latest procedures to help the pain I have had for 20 plus years. I recommend him every chance I get. He is up to date on every thing new in the field, very caring and professional. Don't know where I would be without him.

Dr. Patel is the epitome of excellence in medical care -- accurate diagnosis, definitive plan of action, patient confidence. He saved the quality of my life. I will continue to recommend him to all.
