Dr. Rakhee Mangla, MD

Dr Mangla is my mothers GI She is very knowledgeable and had the kind a patience that is typically hard to find thank you with helping my mother today even after we missed our appointment her pain was unbearable.

I have been a patient of Dr Mangla's for over 4 years. She has treated me for Barretts Esophagus and helps me manage it. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I can call and get answers also. I would highly recommend her.

first and for most I just want to thank her team , down to the nurses for making me feel very comfortable alongside of them on 9/3. I was very nervous because it has been well over 7 yr.'s since I have had an endoscopy completed. I may say I am Beyond happy I changed providers, with that being said thank you to Dr. Mangla for doing an amazing procedure the set up was perfected all instrument's where cleaned and ready for use the questions that Dr. Mangla asked me were very thorough and made sure she had all the information she needed for my case. she did an amazing job with keeping in touch with letting me know my specimen's where being sent to the lab and evaluated. once my specimen results came back she personally called me to tell me which you do not see often. I am so appreciative of her group and I look forward to her doing my procedures in the future.

Three errors were committed in the GI of Norwalk Hospital, one wrong decision of Dr. Mangla and two for lack of supervision of her assistant. I wrote several letters to the hospital and finally to the Health Department, the reaction of the hospital was suggesting in a meeting with the manager of her department to find me another doctor, in fact they already had a letter made for that purpose, this is the third time she had mentioned to change my doctor. The hospital administration does not like people who report medical malpractice and Dr. Mangla preferred to ally herself with the administration instead of defending her patient for more than 6 years. Dr. Mangla has no dignity, ethics or principles. The first duty of a doctor is with their patients not with any hospital.
