Dr. Rakhi Vasudevan Gupta, MD

It's impossible to make an appointment with this doctor. I've been calling the office and leaving voicemail messages for weeks. Thank goodness I don't have a serious illness or medical condition. This is very poor service.

I like Dr Gupta and had a positive patient experience. However, upon trying to continue my care I cannot contact anyone in her practice to make an appointment. 15 messages in two weeks, no callback. I called office during business hours, no one answers. Left messages on voice mail and with answering service. Sent a fax. Finally went in person during business hours, no one there. I waited until 10:00 am and left a note pleading to make an appointment. I am pregnant and concerned and was disregarded (ignored). I give up. Went elsewhere to a stranger I'm not even confident about. I'm upset Dr Gupta would play her patients like this. Go elsewhere, say yourself the grief.

Dr. Gupta is always informative and forthright with information regarding the latest in womens medical care. She takes the time to thoroughly know the patient and spends adequate time getting to know the needs of the patient. Her staff ensures that you are seen if there is a situation that requires her prompt attention.

What kind of harm is done when a woman is advised that her fertility and, indeed, her survival may depend on a recommended procedure and then made to wait nearly three weeks to even be allowed an opportunity to schedule that procedure? (Primum non nocere, right?)When a woman visits another doctor for a second opinion and learns that she has not been fully informed you with regard to clinical data (test results) related to her options and what's best for her, it adds a stinging insult to the injury of having been made to wait in fear. If your physician's office or the physician herself seems too busy or overwhelmed to properly care for you, perhaps they are.Again, women deserve better.
