Dr. Ralph Fong JR., MD

Dr. Fong has been our family doctor for over 25 years! The entire staff is professional, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Fong takes time to address everyone’s individual needs. Excellent!!

Dr. Fong is the epitome of what a family practice doctor should be. First, he is an excellent diagnostician. His diagnoses in the office are confirmed by testing. He leaves nothing to chance, and has a personal relationship with each patient, so far as I can tell. I feel like he is an old friend. He still asks after an elderly friend of mine who moved out of the area 4 -5 years ago; it is obvious that he remembers her very clearly--it is not just a "so, how is XXX doing?" I have gone to him for a physical problem and had him look at me and see that I had other problems. He took the time to question me, counsel me, make sure I contacted another appropriate professional etc., then dealt with the physical problem I had gone in for. This may sound over the top, but I am 66 years old, and have been to a lot of doctors of various types, though I am basically very healthy especially for my age; and he is the epitome of what a family practitioner should be. I have been his… patient since he took over the practice of another family practitioner who retired. There are not words enough to praise him. "Compassionate care" can sound like a meaningless slogan, but in his case it is accurate and genuine. And he has a great sense of humor. The wait is sometimes longer than I would like, but that is the nature of urgent care. When I need extra time I get it so I don't expect him to be on the dot. It is never inconsiderate. He could use some better magazines in his office, though.

I have been going to Dr. Ralph for over 10 years. He is a great Doctor.

Last time I had lab tests run, never heard from the doctor or staff.Advice for what turned out to be retrocalcineal bursitis (per Podiatrist) was "get bigger shoes."

Dr. Fong is the most thorough Doctor I have ever had. His staff is very professional and courteous. Dr. Fong is the "Best of the Best!"

Dr. Fong has been our family doctor. My partner and I appreciate his care. We have seen lots of doctors in our lives in many countries and we have no desire to change Dr. Fong with anybody else. Thank you Dr. Fong.
