Dr. Ralph Oiknine, MD

Dr. Oiknine refused to fill the prescriptions that I need to stay alive, because he wanted to see me in his office more often than every 6 months. His paycheck is more important than my life and wellness. Please, don’t make the same mistake I did.

Very knowledgeable, has engineering for an undergraduate degree. He said he believes having the engineering degree makes him a better doctor, so do I. He has a great manner about him. He doesn't make you feel like a specimen, the way some doctors do.

Dr. Oiknine is a very nice, caring man and brilliant doctor. The low is due solely to his staff who repeatedly fail to do their jobs. Forget about automated refills from pharmacy. His staff have been telling me for 5 years now that they never received the refill requests from 2 of the most well known pharmacies. Trust me I've followed up. Confirmed fax numbers, etc., but it's just Dr. Oiknine's staff. Leaving messages for nurse or even talking to her personally is not much better. Promised return calls or refills just don't happen. Setting/changing appointments is just as bad. This doctor and his patients need a trained, organized staff.

Absolutely fabulous Doctor!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Rachel. She got to the bottom of my problem quickly even though it was unusual and gave great advice on how it should be handled. I needed surgery and she referred me to the best thryoid surgeon in St. Louis at Barnes Hospital. Very thankful for her and she is still taking good care of me.
