I have had total replacement surgery on both of my knees performed by Dr Oliver. I was told by a friend who has been a physical therapist for 20 years that Dr Oliver’s patients consistently get better results than any of the other clients he has worked with. I can attest to that claim as both of my knees are now fully functional and pain free. I had no complications or difficulties during the rehabilitation process following surgery. Both Dr Oliver and his staff are warm, friendly, caring and, above all, highly skilled and competent professionals. I feel fortunate and blessed to have been treated by Dr Oliver and recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

I have osteoarthritis which required previous hip & knee replacements. Dt Oliver has done all of these surgeries. I just had my other knee replaced as well. All of these surgeries went smoothly, without any complications. Healing was excellent. Dr Oliver is a skilled, caring, compassionate surgeon. He listens and answers questions.

6 weeks post-op and all clear for takeoff. If your old bones need some help I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Oliver and his staff.

I had both hips replaced about 18 months apart. Both times the entire process was made simple and my recovery was easier than I expected.

In my opinion, this surgeon cost me 2 1/2 years of my life. I had to endure more pain than I thought existed. After Dr. Oliver's original surgery and then the revision surgery, It took 2 major surgeries, 2 month in a hospital on IV antibiotics, 36 units of blood, and 8 months in a wheelchair before my rehabilitation could even begin. Now, 2 1/2 years later, I am finally coming to as a high degree of rehabilitation as is possible.

First, Dr. Oliver brought a "trainee" into my appt. without asking. It is standard practice to ask the patient's permission first. He spent much of the appt. talking to the "trainee" about me and my foot instead of talking to me. I did not go there to be a lab rat for someone else's purposes. This was completely unprofessional. During the appt. he noted a number of things wrong with my feet & ankles and said that I had plantar fasciitis. He pointed out the muscle on the bottom of my foot that was extremely hard and tight. He did some x-rays of my right foot and ankle and then told me I needed an MRI. The bottom of my right foot was the main problem with severe pain when driving, walking, standing, etc. When I went to schedule the MRI he had only ordered the ankle and not the foot, so I called his office 2 days before my appt. to get it corrected and he never changed it. I called for the MRI results and he left a message saying that everything was fine. I called back since he… never told me what to do about the plantar fasciitis and he left a message saying that I did not have plantar fasciitis and during the message he actually seemed confused when he noticed that there was only an ankle MRI. He must have been looking at my appt. records b/c he really sounded like he was confused. I would not go to this doctor again ever. I requested my x-rays & MRI so I that I can have someone who knows what they are doing assess my foot. The fact that he told me in front of the trainee that I had plantar fasciitis and now says I don't even though he didn't MRI the foot doesn't make sense. He even said why I had it ... severely flat feet, etc.
