Dr. Ralph Milton Reeves, MD

For seven years I saw Dr. Reeves; usually once a week. Prior to seeing him, I went through over a dozen doctors in half that time. During the time with Dr. Reeves, I found myself with a caring human being; more concerned with your well-being than a diagnosis. I gave up on myself time and time again, but he never did. Not once, not even the slightest incling of losing hope. He treated me as person that needed help and guidance. Rather than the standard, mental illness shrouded guy. Dr. Reeves viewed me as an equal person, that deserves happiness; in turn, that eventually allowed me to view myself as person who deserves happiness. Patient, kind, trustworthy, hopeful, friendly, are just some of the words that come to mind to describe him. I owe him a great deal for the lengths he went to, for me, his perseverance and dedication to doing his job. Without Dr. Reeves, I'm not sure where I would be...Clichè or not, he saved my life more times than I can count. The only regret I have, is… that I never got the chance to tell him how big of a difference he made in my life. After all in mental illness, patience and perseverance are more important than titles or books (in my personal opinion). Thank you Dr. Reeves, for your exceptional service. 7 years worth. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Nothing worked so he kept adding more and more meds. It turns out I was misdiagnosed for over 2 years with him. At my appointments he never could remember what meds and dosages he prescribed me at the previous visit.

My husband was having difficulties knowing what was real and what wasn't real in his life. Was hearing voices and was panicked about everyday life. It was suggested to us that we seek Dr. Reeves because we are both christians and he is a christian Doctor, so we did. So in doing this he helped us understand the problems my husband was dealing with and why. We are so grateful to him for all his help. Things are currently under control in our lives and if it weren't for Dr. Reeves it would still be a helpless case. We had gone to other dr's and they weren't any help at all. To each his own. Every Dr. has their faults. Don't give up on this one because of 2 people who have had issues with him. Others don't.

I would never recommend this doctor. Iexperienced panic attacks after the death of my father many years ago. This doctor diagnosed me with psychosis rather than with an obvious anxiety disorder. I suffered for 30 years, believing that I was schizophrenic because he put me on stelazine rather than on an anti-anxiety agent. He did not even tell me what the stelazine was prescribed for; it was only after I looked it up at the library that I knew it was for psychosis. When I told him (by letter) that I was terminating his treatment, he responded that I would become very sick if I stopped the medication. This was clear malpractice.I did not become sick until a recurrence of the ANXIETY DISORDER 25 years later.Clonazepam is all that was needed and any competent physician would have recognized that immediately, especially considering the event that set off my panic attacks.
