Dr. Ram Kiran Parvataneni, MD

I was referred to Dr. P after my previous OBGYN left. I was worried and not too happy that I had to find another one...but UCLA did good when he was recommended. I had a very good experience from the no wait (I was early and he was not able to see me early). He is knowledgeable, professional, patient and caring. You won't be disappointed.

Dr. Parvataneni is absolutely a top-notch gynecological surgeon. He removed four fibroids from me when the initial doctor’s diagnosis was a hysterectomy. He performed a DaVinci robotic surgery in under three hours and my recovery has been better than I thought. He’s kind, informative, and I hope he’ll be my doctor for life. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor.

Best OB surgeon ever! I had seen three doctors trying to address my fibroids and infertility. Dr. Parvataneni spent more time with me than he needed to, responded to every email or call within minutes no matter the time or day, he discovered issues I had that the others missed and completed a very successful operation that eventually lead to the conception of our first child. I am forever grateful for him and his care. Top doctor on every level; patience, concern; attention and surgical skills!

I resently met Dr P and I can't say enough about this doctor. Polite, attentive, gives you options, shows concern, quick to respond to phone calls and emails. I needed to have surgery and so I had heard about Dr P and searched for his rating online but not much however he has 5 stars on one site which said a lot and another dr at UCLA had talked very highly of him so I opted to go with him. Thank u lord! I've had surgery and I couldn't be more happy with him. A truly gracious gentleman. Five stars for sure.

I was pretty nervous having to deal with an unplanned pregnancy and Dr.Parvataneni helped ease that anxiety. So professional, caring, he made an uncomfortable situation feel more comfortable. Took his time going over options until you feel secure in what's going on.

I do not particularly enjoy visits to ObGyn (I think "dreading appointments" applies here) for all the general reasons and little discomforts, but Dr. Parvataneni made my annual exam easy and quick while answering all my questions and taking time to actually listen to what I had to say. More than you can say for many Drs., even at UCLA. Highly recommend him.

Dr Parvataneni has been my Ob/Gyn for more than 6 years. He is a fantastic doctor, easy to contact by e-mail, very caring for his patients, professional but kind. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. P has been the best Dr. I have ever had. He listens to what I have to say and explains everything in plain english. He always follows up with me about test results and even came to visit me after i had my first child.
