Had lower back multiple level fusion. Scared- avoided surgery until I could not function. 1 year post operation and just got back from a trip I hiked over 250 miles. Dr Ram comforted me beforehand as I thought my life would be spent in pain and partial function in left leg. Today no nerve pain, no dragging foot, just a small surgical scare to remind me. Dr. V. is an excellent Dr.. He is brilliant and kind. He takes the time to get to know you and your individual case, he's very thorough and honest, and he always answers any and all questions. He nevee makes you feel rushed out of the office or like you are asking a stupid question. My surgery went very well. Dr. V.'s staff is also very helpful and sweet.

From first visit ,I felt comfortable with both his manner and explanations of my situation. Their office is well run and front desk and assistants are always friendly. I have always felt that I was in competent hands throughout the office visits, the surgery, and recovery. There were no surprises, and that gave me peace of mind and helped keep me stay calm and relaxed. Dr. V is very patient in answering my questions and explained his answers completely. I was so lucky to have a surgeon who knows his stuff and is a talented surgeon to do my operation. After the major operation everything went smoothly and I made a full recovery. Dr. Ram Vasudevan is one of the BEST doctors I have ever met! He truly cares about his patients. He always takes the time out to ensure you understand everything. I had a C5-C7 ACDF (fusion) done back in 2008 and have had trouble with my neck since at least 2013. The Ortho that did my surgery kept writing me off because the MRI showed the fusion to be okay. Dr Ram believed me when I told him something was wrong and sent me for a CT scan. Well boy howdy C5-6 has NOT fused but C6-7 has. I also have bad things going on with C3-4,C4-5, as well as stenosis. Dr. Ram has a great game play on getting me feeling better. The Ortho’s PA said, “Sorry we can’t offer you any help, Good bye, take care, and Good luck”. Thank you for being you Dr. Ram!

Dr. Vasudevan is one of the finest doctors I have come across. He is highly knowledgeable and competent in his field. He operated successfully on my back problem and followed up to make sure that I was well and had all of my questions answered. On my initial visit, he spent a great deal of time explaining what type of surgery he was recommending and spent a large amount of time showing me on my MRI what was happening and how he could correct the problem. I highly recommend him.
