Dr. Rama Dev Jager, MD

Both spouse and I have been seeing Dr. Jager over the past several months for retinal tears and detachments. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and care shown by Dr. Jager and his staff. In one instance, Dr. Jager coordinated emergency surgery on very short notice. He goes above and beyond in service to his patients.

Always rushed with patients. Leaves the door open when consulting with patients. Waiting room is always overbooked with long waiting times,

I have been getting Eylea injections for years and no one ever showed me pictures or explained what they meant .All of the staff (except one ) were very friendly ,answered my questions and seemed to care which made me comfortable. Dr Jager was informative ,patient, and kind . I did not feel as though I was in an assembly line. I highly recommend him

Dr. Jager is hands down the Best Eye Dr. for all ages. He is genuinely caring,- really connects with his Patients. He listens to them, educates and gives excellent direction .and assists the patient in helping them understand their options. I highly recommend Dr. Jager He is SO CALM and reassuring !

I needed emergency surgery for a detached retina. Dr. Jager PERSONALLY secured a team and all that was necessary, expediting the surgery. He has given me his undivided attention for all of my concerns both post-op and during office visits and continues to be readily available to respond to all of my questions. I am very confident that I am receiving the best of care.

I just started with Dr. Jager. I was with another Ophthalmologist for a number of years, but I experienced a number of scheduling and referral problems. I was in Dr. Jager's office and within 5 minutes I knew I was being treated in a professional manner. His staff were polite, helpful, and put me at ease as they administer a number of tests. He has a deep knowledge of his field, but he is able to explain things so that a layman can understand.His calm manner helped us to weather the storms of doubt during recovery. His staff is amazing in their care for each patient. It is a tough time when your eyesight is threatened. I searched for the best eye doctor for Diabetic retinopathy in Chicago and his name was on the top of the list. I made an appointment that very week and went to see him and have not looked back. He saved me from losing my vision and made great recomendations so that after 40 some years I am no longer wearing glasses for distant vision. Besides being a great diagnostician he has an excellent bedside manner. He always makes me feel special and takes time to answer my concerns. He is a true healer! I am so fortunate to have found him, I hope that other patients who need his expertise give him a chance.

I WENT TO DR. JAGER TO GET A SECOND OPINION. ANOTHER DR. DID THREE SURGERIES ON ME, AND I STILL LOST MY SIGHT. THE OTHER DR. WANTED TO DO YET, ANOTHER SURGERY, BUT HE ALREADY WAITED TOO LONG IN THE FIRST PLACE, TO SAVE MY SIGHT WHICH WAS DUE TO A RETINA DETACHMENT. I SO REGRET THAT I DIDN'T FIND DR. JAGER FIRST FOR HE EASES MY MIND, SHOWS ME WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO ME, AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS TOO LATE TO REGAIN MY SIGHT, DR. JAGER IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD. I FEEL SO CONFIDENT AND SAFE IN HIS CARE. HE EXPLAINS IN DETAIL AND ANSWERS ALL MY QUESTIONS. HE IS DEFINITELY A 10.
