Dr. Ansari is an amazing doctor. He is dedicated, passionate and understanding with his patients. Dr. Ansari’s guidelines has changed my life. I really appreciate him.

Dr ansari is the only nuerologist that correctly diagnosed me.he saved my life.he has made me feel comfortable knowing that he has the knowledge to care for me.my disease is very complicated and very few drs even know what cidp is.i was paralyzed when I met dr ansari in 2015.i am almost back to normal activities now thanks to him ..ty dr ansari you are the best and you and your team are greatly appreciated..highly recommended.

I went in simply because they were the fastest one to take me. I've had chronic headaches and migraines for months and I would have accepted just about anything at this point. They weren't my first choice, simply because their questionnaire wasn't very thorough. Not like it mattered, no one read it anyway. I ended up repeating myself to him over and over and over. According to him, my migraines are because I'm overweight. I'm not disputing that all. I could stand to lose 30 pounds. He ragged and nagged and nagged about my weight being my problem.... despite the fact that I was with a personal trainer for a year, on a 1000 calories a day with high intensity work outs 4-5 days a week for an hour to an hour and a half each time, and still didn't lose a single pound or an inch. I told him I was here in 2014 with a traumatic brain injury which left me with brain scarring and that my weight gain started immediately after that. He blew it off. Told me I need to lose weight. I told… him my mother had a case of migraines like I do when she was my age. He asked what worked for her-- I told him nothing. Nothing but--- and then he interrupted me. Nothing but a hysterectomy. Between the injury, the brain scarring and the fact that it ran in the family and was only fixed by a hysterectomy, you would think it would clue him in to do some hormonal tests. I didn't get a prescription for a preventive or abortive for my migraines. I just got two shots of nerve blocker in the back of my neck and.. lord knows what in my shoulders. After the PA was done with the injections, I stood up and saw the chair i was sitting in. It was absolutely filthy. I wish I could post pictures. Not only do I *still* have a headache, but now my neck and shoulders hurt. Maybe if he would LISTEN instead of just taking our money, he'd get a better review.

I do not like writing reviews about the office staff and a PA but I would like others with a TBI to consider my feedback before scheduling. Having a TBI is an invisible illness. I am so tired of being judged and my injuries being invalidated by "normal" staff and a PA with no TBI. No matter how much education you have, it has no bearing on actually "suffering" a moderate TBI, amongst other severe injuries, and only then is your perspective “nonjudgmental” and "real-time". I was referred to Dr. Ansari by my primary because of another head injury. I really thought Dr. Ansari was fantastic because he “appeared” to listen, and didn’t seem to judge me. In fact, I even called my primary to share this. I am a licensed diagnostician, school psych, special ed and regular ed certified, just not in Texas, and because of my background and fair-share of useless doctors since moving to Texas these past four years, I actually found him to be genuine and he actually listened to me. … Unfortunately, that all gets tainted when the insurance company makes the negotiated rate so poor that patients are scheduled every ten minutes and with PAs because the doctor is too busy. I get it, but why do I have to accept it? I pay for the co-pay and agree to let the doctor's office file on my insurance? After the initial meeting, a woman PA came in. She informed me that every other appointment scheduled would be with her. Naturally, I got upset because I ONLY wanted to meet with the doctor. I questioned this and she clearly took offense, and that was never my intention. I have a moderate TBI and my filter is just not there no matter how hard I try. I believe in truth-telling and advocating for myself period. I need a neurologist for many reasons, not a PA. I do not believe the doctor reads everything and therefore will depend on her synopsis, which I have a problem with. I canceled twice because I didn’t have all of my documentation. Yesterday, I was on-time and ended up waiting an hour in total only to find out the PA was overbooked and I needed to reschedule? I was stunned because I made an appointment with the doctor. I was then told to hand the assistant all of my films and reports and that the PA would look at them and then maybe come in to speak with me, "If she can". I said there is absolutely no way she would be able to review all of that in five minutes (eight cds, and pages of reports). I just cannot understand why they would think I would want to sit there for two hours until she could fit me in when I had an appointment at a specific time to begin with. I find all of it ironic. The last appointment I was late 15 minutes and could “not” be seen. Then this time I wait, like my initial time for an hour, only to be told the PA is overbooked. I know for a fact that last time both the doctor and PA were delayed and that there were plenty of people waiting in the waiting area and I could have been seen. Instead, I was sent away with my films in hand because they told me that they would “keep” them all and now they wouldn't? I have lots of friends who are nurses and doctors and this was without a doubt payback and punishment because I canceled twice and was late once. I nearly cried leaving the office and shut my mouth as I walked out.

From the first handshake I knew we had found the neurologist for my husband. Not only is Dr. Ansari caring and kind, but he listens. When you leave the office, he thinks about his patient. We just love him and his staff. I always felt encouraged when we’d leave. He’s just that kind of doctor. Today after two strokes and a heart attack, my husband is walking and talking. I brought my mom to see Dr. Ansari after seeing another reurologist in the area who did not do much for her in terms of treatment other than writing prescriptions. Dr. Ansari was truly great. He took the time to ask questions and addressed all of my concerns. He checked my mom very thoroughly and also ordered some tests that the previous doctor never mentioned in order to make a diagnose. Dr. Ansari has great bedside manners. He was caring and patient, and he gave us hope that my mother's condition can improve. I feel that for the first time in a long time, we are in good hands.

I loved Dr. Ansari as soon as I met him he explained every things to me , felt very comfortable with him , I wish I met him earlier , I recommend him very highly
