Dr. Ramin Sabahi

The staff was very rude and unhelpful.

I regret having to write a negative review of Dr. Sabahi but I feel that others should beware of this Office and associated problems. First I have been a patient of Dr. Sabahi for several years and he has been a very good as a doctor. But on many, many occasions in the last 12 months, it has been impossible to communicate with his office. Multiple messages for a call backs were ignored, refills request from my pharmacy and me have gone unanswered, left message to speak to Dr. Sabahi because I did not know who else to talk to, no return call. I finally decided I must seek another rheumatologist, I then found I must retrieve my records for the Avondale office. At least 2 times a day for a week I left messages that I wanted to get a copy of my records..Never did I receive a call back. One the last day I tried, I thought they must be closed or vacation or?? but I decided to go to the office and see if there was a note on the door or anything indicating where to contact Dr… Sabahi. Upon arrival at the office I found it was open with a few people in the waiting area and at least four ladies in the glassed in office area. I asked the receptionist why no one answered the phone she simply said .."we are just too busy taking care of patients..." I decided I would remove my self as a patient so hopefully it would free up some time in that office.

He takes listen to his patients and he genuinely cares.

Have been seeing Dr. Sabahi for two years now. I have confidence in him as a physician although his "bedside manners" are not as fine tuned as most, he is a very good physician. I have had some difficulties with getting some refills on mess, my simply calling his office and leaving a message seems to not be able to get the refills in a timely manner. But he is good at what he does and I have confidence in him to help me with my arthritis.

I waited an hour and 50 minutes before even being seen by the doctor. when the doctor finally showed up he didn't listen to anything I had to say and never once looked me in the eye. I was a new patient he offered absolutely no medical advice no opinion of my blood work I left with more questions than I had going in. This doctor is there to collect a check over books his office and gives two rats about his patients. I would never ever ever recommend this doctor if you really want to be heard and really want to know about your condition he provides absolutely no help assistance or answers.

He has managed my issues and when I am unwilling to change my own diet or lifestyle, he lets me own it. He is not a mind reader, if I ask a question, he will give me an answer. If there is a concern or a test that doesn't look right. He will suggest ways to pursue the issue. He always lets me control my medical care. He doesn't leave me uninformed, but he does expect me to be a partner in my own care.

I only gave him 1 star because he did actually diagnose me. He nickel and dimes you for everything. I have to $40 for my own medical records. Not x rays or MRI just Xerox copies. I will never go back.

Went to this Dr, ordered test on everything except what I went for!! Told me to take Advil! Joint, fingers knees are deforming says there nothing he could do! After X-rays test ect WAST OF MY TIME AND MONEY!!

Seems to have trouble refilling R/X. call last time 4 weeks to get refill. Time before had 2 refill and only one was filled. called and called 2 week to get other R/X. Now all other refill's from other Dr's have been filled except one guess Dr. Sabahi . Looking for another doctor!

Dr Sabahi is one of the best physicians in Arizona. I'm very fortunate to be his patient. I will continue to see him.
