The workers in McNeal and Loyola’s ER kept telling they were sorry I was being treated the was I was….but Dr. Alverez was the worse he gets off on mistreating people like he thinks he GOD and has the power, I am actually thinking of sueing him. He’s a first class JERK!

Terrible don’t go to him!

Awful I was treated so badly by him, he didn’t care and pretty much called me a lair. It seems he enjoyed being mean to me. I never, ever want to see him again, this happened last year and I’m still traumatized because of him, he didn’t care not care and one of the most arrogant doctors I’ve ever dealt with. No bedside manner just MEAN! I didn’t want to leave any stars but I had not choice in order to send this message.

Took no history, asked no questions, put me on one drug that had not worked for me previously and didn't care my blood pressure was over 200. Thanks. Had 3 group sessions and all involved coloring. One had music. Not so effective. Arrogant.

Dr. Alvarez was my first Doctor to diagnose me with anxiety and panic disorder. Since he has left Dreyer I have seen 3 different doctors that have changed my meds, changed doses.. I am going to take the drive to Berwyn because he had been the only Doctor to understand me and actually help with my anxiety and panic attacks.

I was under Dr Alvarez care for approximately 12 years. In that time he had me on a medication that was only meant for 6 weeks of use. He said it was safe. I am now disabled from central nervous system damage. I cannot work, drive or make life decisions for myself. My life has been ruined. I was a productive member of society, I had a job, I had relationships, enough money to take care of myself, it’s all gone.... do not trust this man.

took care of me when I was admitted for alcohol issues. He was not judgmental and he explained the disease process of addiction. He gave me hope that I will get better

Dr Alvarez Diagnosed my condition after having been misdiagnosed for yrs.It took him about 3 months to find the right combination of medications but he would not give up on me - he told me the first day we met - "I promise to do everything I can for you. He returns call very quickly (within the hour)and I speak with him not a nurse. Im glad he is my Doctor

He didn't help me at all. He is arrogant and talks down to you. He does not spend much time with you when he sees you and he doesn't listen.

I find Dr. Alvarez to be very professional, intelligent, and methodical.
