Dr. Ramon Leonidas Flores, MD

My eight year old was misdiagnosed by her previous pediatrician numerous times. I am so thankful that my friend recommended Doctor Flores. He is patient, kind, and thorough. Doctor Flores diagnosed my daughter quickly and prescribed the correct medication. I say 'correct medication' because my daughter's symptoms disappeared almost immediately. Also, kudos to his staff. They are very friendly and always accommodate when scheduling an appointment. Thank you all.

My son, who is now 3 years old, has been going to see this doctor since his birth. The purpose of the pediatric checkups is to verify that our son is healthy, which he really is; however, we feel that Dr. Flores is overstepping boundaries, acting instead as a psychologist and making us feel degraded and humiliated. Instead of being positive and pointing out ways that our son has made progress, Dr. Flores tried to categorize our son as an undisciplined, spoiled brat when he refused to undergo a weight measurement at the last checkup and also tried to categorize him as developmentally disabled just because we have not yet succeeded in getting him toilet trained. When I gave him a piece of my mind by telling him how I felt about his lack of professionalism, my husband reproached me for refusing to respect the doctor, which in turn triggered a disagreement between us and a temper tantrum from our son. The bottom line is, we feel that Dr. Flores does not really listen to us or try to give… us encouragement or support, and instead tries to label us as inadequate or abusive parents or suggest that couples who marry later in life should not have kids at all. The truth is, no parent or child is perfect and we are doing our best to ensure our son's best interest. We are currently expecting our second child, a baby girl, and thus have decided to move on and find another pediatrician who is more flexible and understanding of our situation.

Dr. Flores has been my children's pediatrician for over 15 years. The negative comment given by the African American is absurd. My children and I are African American and overtime we visit, we are treated with respect and dignity. In his office, he loves all his patients and his son is a superb doctor as well.

My daughters and I feel very comfortable and satisfied with doctor flores (both, son and father) I really appreciate it.

If you are looking for a old fashion Doctor who knows his patients and has a wonderful bedside manner than this is your man!

Dr. Flores is a wonderful pediatrician, neonatologist and an amazing person! He truly loves and cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain and answer all your questions and concerns. We know Dr. Flores for 10 years, he has always been very patient, kind and knowledgeable. He has great love and respect for his little patients. In every one of our visits, not only he will answer all my questions, but will also patiently answer all of my son's questions as well. It is an honor and a previlage to know Dr. Flores!

Great doctor

I read the other reviews, and find them all ironic. This doctor is extremely rude, unprofessional and seems a little prejudiced towards African Americans. Trust me on this. His bedside manner is absolutely disgusting and the professionalism of his office is one to be questioned.

Dr flores is a great doctor. He takes his time to listen to your concerns and gives you a good explanacion and background on his finding with your child. He is truly the best! Very down to earth!! Love him!
