Dr. Ramon Hugo Sanchez, MD

Bad experience in general. HORRIBLE STAFF. NEED TO GET FIRED ASAP. The doctor himself isnt too bad. He knows his facts well and tried to help out his patients. He is a little cold though. He is not the friendly type doctor who id feel comfortable telling my conditions. It was just a little uncomfortable. His staff, on the other hand, are the WORST staff I have ever come across. So rude and unprofessional. Would NEVER return my calls until i called them for the 10th time within a 3 week period. Told me to never come back to the practice and that they are "happy" that theyll never have to see me again. Complete scum. Avoid at all costs.

I have seen this doctor 4 times since 2014. I made a appt 3 days before I was going on a 12 hour drive, and needed a muscle relaxer as I ran out of mine. I was prescribed a medication that I didn't feel comfortable taking because it said that you have to ween yourself off of it, and may cause seizures if you aren't careful when you stop taking it, but I needed it every night and that was my concern. I am already taking medication for seizures therefore, I was hesitant taking them. I called this office the same day and asked if he could give me a call. I never received that call, and I left 2 voice mails within the week I was out with no call back. I got back from my trip and decided to just go to the office. I was explaining to the girl up front what was going on, and asked if he had a moment to go over it really quick or get something else. The girl I was talking to got quickly interrupted by a lady I have never seen there and she gave me a really big attitude that was completely… unnecessary as I was not being rude in any sort of way, whatsoever. This lady was saying that they got no messages, and the doctor only returns calls if it's an emergency. The one girl that has seen me there every visit, looked at the sheet, and told her that yes, I have left 2 messages, but nobody had called me back. She got disgruntled and said again the doctor doesn't call unless it's an emergency. She said I must be new and slammed the screen so I couldn't see or talk to them anymore. A few minutes later, I met Dr. Sanchez in the hallway and he had an attitude with me as well and told me I was to contact my neurologist for stuff like that, and not him. I told him I was confused because he is the one that prescribed it to me, and if I had gotten a call back like I was told, then I wouldn't have been in the office asking about it. I just needed clearance that it was indeed, ok to take it every night. He knew that I was taking the other muscle relaxer every single night due to my pain. On top of never returning to a place that treats their customers as if they don't know what they are talking about, their system is always down so they have to write everything down and put it in your file.
