This doctor is awefull. Come in with chest pains. Took an xray. Xray says its fine. She sends me home. She doesnt dig further ibto the issue. I hope this women dies in a fire right after her family dies in a fire. Her attitude is aweful.

I came in with severe chest pain that I've been struggling with for over two months now. It has gotten much worse over the past week and has become more frequent/sharp. The nurses and staff were very friendly and listened to my symptoms and issues. The doctor came in for all about 30 seconds, told me I was too young for chest pain, pushed on my stomach and used a stethoscope on my back and then left. Never checked my heart area or asked where the pain was, or my symptoms. This entire moment she was rude, short, and uninformative and never let me explain anything. A very sweet nurse came in, put anti-inflammatories into my IV and said it was for muscle swelling. the doctor had informed me of absolutely nothing in regards to this which left me clueless, and almost worrisome as to what was happening. She came back about an hour or so later and told me it was a pulled muscle (still without even checking the area where the pain was, or the severity/type of pain) and that I was fine. She… explained NOTHING to me, and continued to tell me it was not cardiovascular and acted as though I was wrong about anything I felt or thought. She then prescribed me anti-inflammatories and left. My mother in law had to actually stop her and ask for a referral to a cardiologist because I KNOW this was heart related as I've had heart issues previously, and I've experienced a pulled muscle in my chest so I know what that pain can feel like. She got argumentative, and very rude. (I understand it's an emergency room and they do not offer in depth testing of the heart area, so I'm not saying my results were wrong but I wanted a referral to get more testing and make sure everything was okay.) She had a new nurse return with all my paperwork and with a name of a cardiologist; the nurse also seemed slightly confused on what the doctor's intent was. Overall she gave me no information as to what it could be, what was going on, or anything to ease my mind. She also made me feel uncomfortable in the sense of everything going on, and made me feel as if I were wrong for the things I was feeling and that I wasn't smart enough to know the pains I was feeling. I will be finding a cardiologist today and hopefully they can be more personable, friendly, informative and professional and help me in this situation. I would absolutely not recommend this doctor.

I saw Dr. Sherwany at the GBMC Emergency Room for rectal bleeding and severe cramping in the abdomen / back areas. While performing a rectal exam, her cell phone rang. She literally pulled her finger out of my bottom and answered her phone while keeping her gloved finger in the air. I was absolutely appalled. She provided no explanation regarding the bleeding, blood tests performed, or the results of the CT scan performed other than to follow up with a gastroenterologist and my primary health provider. I later found out that the CT findings showed a complex hemorrhagic cyst at a follow up appointment 1 1/2 months later that was still there upon further follow up. I am currently undergoing additional testing to determine the cause of the bleeding (may be an ulcer). Overall, Dr. Sherwany lacked bedside manners, was medically incompetent and unable to effectively relay information. I would not recommend her services. If I could, I would select zero stars.
