Dr. Randall Lane Hendricks, MD

I found Dr. Hendricks thoroughly dismissive and was in worse shape after his treatments. Long wait times and 5-10 minute rushed face to face time. I know he is a good surgeon, as I was referred by a friend who can't say enough good things about him. However, you must have a blatantly obvious issue on images that needs surgery. I believe he relies solely on image findings. I respect that, but I feel he should still treat patients who may not need a surgery until they are better. I don't think a doctor should abandon their patients; they should at least refer them to someone who can treat them, not leave them in pain with mobility issues as their new normal.

If you enjoy not being listened to and not being taken seriously regarding your own body and care then I cant recommended him enough. He'll push you in to a spinal fusion so fiercely its almost as though he gets additional kick backs from them. You and your injury will only be dollar signs to this man and are better off elsewhere.

Went to him through work comp,He did a fusion lower spine,promised it would get me through to retirement.I did EVERY SINGLE post-op exercise and precautions he told me to do though it was extremely painful.When I’d mlke mation I was in worse pain than before he would act like I was lying.I wasn’t ,I worked 20 years as a powerliner and this guy ruins me.Please please do not go to this man for surgery on your back. I couldn't walk in 1993 when he did my surgery. I am much older now and I see an awful lot of people with botched back surgeries....Thank God he sent me to Dr. Hendricks...By now he could have only gotten better!!!

I had a l4 l5 s1 spinal fusion from dr hendricks, everything was going well until my 6 month after surgery exam when i was told your healed and released. When i asked how can i be released as healed while still having pain even with pain meds, i was scolded about pain management and told to take advil. Then told it could hurt for a year and he might have to remove hardware. So i asked if im released how will you know if hardware has to come out, he goes off again about how narcotics are bad for you and suck it up. I didnt ask for narcotics first of all i asked to stop hurting. Had i known i would be dumped in pain this jacka## never would have worked on me. I didn't have surgery to still hurt!

I am absolutely shocked that Dr. Hendricks is allowed to practice medicine. He is incredibly rude. He doesn't like for you to ask questions as he is apparently threatened by people who take an interest in their own health & health care. The MRI I got at St. Francis did not provide good clear images. When comparing an MRI from another Tulsa location to the St. Francis one the difference was astonishing---no one is going to operate on me using terrible images like that. The radiologist did not even see all the issues seen in previous MRI. When I asked questions about it Dr. Hendricks became hostile toward me. He actually told me that if he had my health issues that he would look for a tall building to jump off of and then he pointed upwards because we were in a tall building. Recommending suicide to his patients? What a pompous jerk. He's not touching me. FYI-I was sent to him by workers comp. I think he just tries to make money off the workers comp patients. It was clear he had zero… compassion for me & my health. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR HENDRICKS TO ANYBODY!

first of all, don't be shocked if/when you see this guy, based on the picture above....he is MUCH older. My experience at this place was terrible! I've been twice-but, I will never go back. BOTH times start to finish I was there almost three hours. They think they have a real streamline operation going there, but it's a joke! Sign in, sit, your name is called almost immediately, you think "wow, that was fast" ... nope, it's just the medical insurance office calling you in to get all your insurance info., go sit again.....for at least an hour....when I inquired at the desk how much longer I'd be waiting, I was told "Dr. Hendricks typically runs 45 minutes behind schedule", huh???? I had an 8am appt! anyway, once I finally got back to a room to wait another half hour, I spent maybe 10 minutes my first appt. visiting with him about my condition, x-rays I'd provided, and he ordered a MRI. Second visit, went over MRI, was told I needed surgery, LOL! for a herniated disc, I asked for… a Physical Therapist referral so I could begin doing the necessary stretches and exercises to improve my condition (yes a herniated disc can heal itself with proper alternative treatment) he would not refer me. I had to obtain a referral from my GP.....his words "I can perform surgery or you can live with the pain" No thanks! I would never let this guy touch me. He's a one trick pony, and don't waste your time!!! This is the worst office environment and one of the worst Drs I've ever been in contact with.

Dr. Hendricks did not care, and he did not listen to how I was copping after the surgery, and I had the samething with my feet as the oter person below me. When I had fallen out of my chair at work I went back to him again, and I think he still did not get it at all. He said he can remove the hardware, but after that first surgery did he really think I would go through that again.........? I am still in pain after six years and cannot find any Doctor to take this serious. What is a person to do? I now have to go back to him and will try once again to explain to him and hope he will get it this time.Sign Always in Pain
