Dr. Randall M West, DO

He was a great doctor for 15 years for my family. For a while, we saw the other Dr, Dr. Resciniti, and he was also great. Unfortunately I cannot afford Dr. West's mandatory concierge service for my family of four, so we have to move on. It was great while it lasted as there was always minimal wait times, same day and very thorough appointments. Thank you Dr. West and good luck.

WOW! I have seen Dr. West a few times now and can't say I have any complaints. He does what every doctor should do...TEACHES! He actually educates you, not only tells you but shows you how to improve your health and overall quality of life. People complain about the cost...not everyone has the same genetic makeup, we are not all blessed with perfection. Sometimes it costs a few dollars on a supplement to prevent having to take a prescription medication. I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion however some of these reviews are childish.

Dr West is in a league of his own . He truly believes that's it is morally and ethically acceptable to bill your insurance , spend 3-5 minutes with you on only 1 concern. Then he goes on to say if you pay him extra cash in advance he will give you the time of day. So much to say to your face that he's willing to cancel another poor patients appt and cancel it because you paid him cash up front plus he bills your insurance . You tell me is that called a doctor or a scammer. Since when are doctors used car salesmen too. Since when does a doctor have the nerve to bluntly tell you that another patient is not important because they did not pay extra. In my opinion he is double charging patients. Since when does this doctor no longer feel obligated to take care of his patience that are not double billed by his ridiculous concierge package . Since when did Dr.West forget that he is still obligated to deal with patients , his patient for urgent matters ( that's called on call) unless… he's not on call. Since when can you be do afraid to ask anything else during your visit because he will cut you off and say well if you paid more out of pocket I could address your issue because now you've become one of my special patients. How can Dr West let go of the ideology of the purpose of why he became a doctor . To care for patients all patients equally , not just those that he can double bill. Please don't forget he is billing your insurance , plus a co-pay plus the conceire cash deal package that he offers . I find him to be unethical for putting his patients in this segregated category, then treating those with better medical care than those who may not be able to afford it choose not to get involved with this program. All patients should be treated equally, whether rich poor, ethnic backgrounds and especially the right to say no thank you, I deserve to see a doctor that cares , that remembers why he became a doctor, treats from the knowledge, professionalism not from a person wallet. Lesson learned, if your doctors spends more time telling you how he can't give you the time of day, how he'd like to give you more that 3mins, how he'd like to take a quick peek and your ear cause it's hurts but oh sorry he can't . The insurance only pays him for about 4 minutes of service, schedule another appt. Yelp him cause more people will start reading the same experiences. Oh and let your insurance company know that he's a contracted provider that's not doing what they are paying him for, plus he's asking for cash out of pocket for medical services. They would love to hear that . Shame on any one that calls themselves a doctor and practices like this.!!!

Wonderful office. Dr West really cares, but doesn't seem to have time due to loss of another doctor in the office. He now only takes patients that pay extra per year, so probably will have less patients and, therefore, more time to spend with patients. I believe he is an excellent doctor.

West is The most rude, conceited, arrogant doctor I have ever seen. I had a great experience with Dr. Resciniti, who left the practice. I lost 50lbs. My meds were getting titrated. He challenged me to work out. He was everything you want when you choose a DO. I had to go see West to discuss my latest blood tests and a possible surgical procedure. He went over the blood test so fast I didn't get anything out of it. I got the feeling he wanted to be anywhere but in that exam room. When I wanted to discuss a situation that might have required surgery, he told me that if I was part of his concierge service, he could take the time to do that. As it turns out, my new DO, who IS GREAT got me to the surgeon immediately and the surgery is in December. This could turn out to be serious. I'm glad that I had the presence of mind to see another doctor. Dr. West was unprofessional in his opinion about Dr. Resciniti and the doctor he replaced. The two times I had to see West he… would rant about the affordable care act. Again, very unprofessional.

Dr.West is THE BEST Doctor I've ever been to EVER. I get in SAME DAY if needed-always! He's extremely thorough & preventive medicine oriented. He explains things in terms that I understand. He does the most advanced labs & stays current-at the least.

Dr. West's partner has left and it has caused a giant backlog. I was feeling ill and was told it would take three weeks to get in to see the doctor. If I was feeling ill I should pay 4x the copay and go to the ER to be seen. That was when I decided to leave.

for the last 8 yrs he has been a great doc. then he decided to become a concierge doctor, which meant he wants money for the right to have him as your doc.I am now seening his partner and am having to go thru all the hoops I have already been thru with Dr West. I am not happy about it because now I have been referred out to other doctors and have to travel all over the area to see them. If I weren't such a loyal person I would seek out the care of another doc.I also don't like the fact that his office staff turns over all of the time. The office just doesn't have that friendly welcoming feeling anymore.
