Dr. Randall Scott Widmaier, DC

I could not ask for a better chiropractor than Randall Widmaier. I have been seeing him regularly for 2.5 years now and he has been essential in my recovery. The Activator Method he employs is very gentle and incredibly effective. He is a true professional, and his staff is wonderful. They have a nice new office right off of 40th St & Camelback, and they take all practical COVID-related precautions so you can feel safe in going there. If you have any sort of pain/biomechanical issues, back-related or otherwise, I cannot recommend Dr. Widmaier highly enough.

When I first came to office I brought my medical records with me and told them I needed to be adjusted on activator table. Four years prior I’d been in an accident with a semi. I need to be adjusted by activator and with activator table. I’d been told by the Activator School that Dr Widmaier used the table. The 5-6 times I saw Dr Widmaier he did not use the table. He also wants his patients already lying face down on the treatmentb table when he comes in the room and leaves before you can get up so there is no chance to interact with him prior to the treatment or afterward. If you want to speak with him you have to call him back. I decided to try another activator doctor who does treat with the activator table and it is working out well. I called Sylvia, his receptionist, to say I would like to stop by to get my records back. Sylvia said she’d check and call me back. She didn’t. Couple weeks later I stopped in and asked for my medical records. Sylvia told me I needed to meet… with Dr Widmaier and took me to a treatment roomI’d never been in before. I was shocked as it had an activator table. When Dr Widmaier came in he was all concerned about my not coming to him anymore and wanted to know who I was seeing instead of him. I stayed on topic and asked for my records to which Dr Widmaier said he threw them out. Not even shredded via patient confidentiality law. He was contrite and said he’d immediately call my former (out-of-state) doctor and have my records sent to him as there’d be no cost. That was over a month and a half ago. I’ve called in three times have spoken to Sylvia. Each time Sylvia has said ‘I will talk to Dr Widmaier shortly and will call you back yet today. Neither Sylvia or Dr Widmaier has ever called me back or given me back my records. Last time I called in was this morning. I spoke to Sylvia same response and that she’d call me back. Once again I’ve not heard from either. Not impressed with Widmaier Chiropractor no I’m not.

Dr Widmaier has been able to keep me completely mobile so that I can do my job. I truly do not how I could have done it without him. With his knowledgeable staff and expertise you can count on being well! Lisa
