Dr. Randolf D Dipp, DO

Grins broadly in the face of sharing your inner turmoil. Seems intelligent but offers little to no insight, just suggests coming to sessions even more frequently. Unfortunately not a helpful guide in my mental health journey.

This doctor creates such a placebo that the medications will hardly be needed. He has the healing powers of an ancient sage. Just be patient and you will see results. Your pain and suffering may be reduced and for years to come. If only there were more of this kind of doctoring.

Dr. Randy Dipp is a very effective, pleasant, nonjudgmental and handsome psychiatrist. A rare find. Worth every penny.

I spent hours scouring websites for reviews on San Diego area psychiatrists, but had a difficult time getting callbacks from any that I called! I wound up scheduling an appointment through PsyCare since everyone else was unavailable. After an exceptionally horrible experience with one of their "doctors", my husband happened to come across Dr. Dipp on our insurance (Triwest) website. He left a message which was returned promptly and personally by Dr. Dipp. He listened to our situation and was able to see me within two days! His office has a comfortable, relaxed feel with an amazing view, which helps if you have anxiety since it is so soothing to look at. Dr. Dipp is a great listener, easy to talk to and is helping me to overcome my issues without pushing too hard. He makes you feel involved in your care process by giving you options instead of just telling you what's "wrong" with you. He will prescribe medications as needed but does not use them as a "cure all". Dr. Dipp treats… the whole person and not just the problem. I highly recommend this doctor!!

I was not comfortable with this Dr. The waiting area was more like a dingy little closet, furnished from the 70's. His "office" has the most spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and when I commented on it he looked at me as though I said something weird. I was just not comfortable with him at all. Left feeling more depressed and discouraged. I never heard from him and I did not return; I found another psychiatrist who was a better fit for me.

Dr. Dipp displays a genuine interest in improving overall help and wellness, instead of just focusing on a particular problem.Also, he is the only doctor I have ever known who is always right on time.
