This doctor experience for my mother was not great. She did one test and barely asked any questions before saying my mom has dimentia and then prescribed meds.

My encounter with Dr. Das following my first seizure was nothing short of a nightmare. Instead of addressing my distress and concerns, she fixated solely on bureaucratic formalities, particularly the three-month driving restriction. While I understood the necessity of this rule, her complete disregard for my emotional state was utterly unacceptable. Despite my repeated pleas regarding my extreme claustrophobia and the need for IV sedation during an MRI, Dr. Das brushed off my concerns, insisting that I could manage without it. It took an exhausting amount of insistence before she finally conceded and provided the sedation. Throughout the consultation, she seemed rushed and disinterested, failing to address any of my questions or worries. The final insult came when the MRI order was not marked as STAT, despite my urgent need for the scan. When I reached out to her office to rectify the situation and expedite the process, their dismissive response was infuriating, implying that my… urgency was inconsequential to them. Their refusal to provide a basic level of service, brushing off my urgent needs with the excuse that they are "not a concierge service," was insulting and unacceptable. In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Das and her office was utterly unsatisfactory. While I understand the importance of medical protocols, patient care should never come at the expense of empathy, understanding, and responsiveness to individual needs. If you're looking for a healthcare provider who values patient well-being and respects your concerns, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

I called early in the afternoon, stressed the importance of my wife getting the required medication and Dr Das didn't even bother to contact us! I'm considering a lawsuit as we were forced to go to the ER to get medicine when her seizure hit and the doctor prescribed the wrong medication. It's unbelievable that she didn't care enough to get back to us when my wife had a massive seizure due to Dr. Ras' prescription.

I went here and got an EEG that showed slowing on one side of my brain. Dr. Das told me that it was fine, which was alarming because that does not seem like a normal thing to have. Upon visiting a new neurologist a year later, it turns out that the slowing is a result of seizure activity. If Dr. Das would have looked more into my case, I could have been managing my symptoms for the past year and possibly found out about my Traumatic Brain Injury way sooner than now. She also told me after seeing major symptoms of chronic illness that I didn’t need medication, that I needed to, “walk with nature.” It took weeks to get referrals and calls back from this office. Please don’t waste your time with this specialist like I did. Visit NeuroAustin or a different Neurologist that will find and diagnose your problems right away.

She is the best doc in the usa

Poor bedside manner. Dismissive of my concerns, which were not uninformed. Provided me with information about the condition I was concerned about that I knew to be false. Office is disorganized and messy. Going to see a different neurologist next week.

I have had many experiences with the finest doctors, as I come from a family of doctors. Dr. Das spent no time in taking a history, merely wanted to increase 2 medications which give me bad reactions if they are increased. With no history, why take such a risk? She was very controlling and had a poor demeanor in my experience.

The only Complaint I have is she rushes alot but I have just told her her wait--I am not done with her yet. She will ''listen'' very well and is Quick also.
