Dr. Ranil Ronald Ninala, MD

I had been going to Dr. Ninala for 2 years and in this 2 years was only prescribed 2 different medications for pain. I would let him know medication was not managing my pain and would ask for another type of medication to help manage my pain because he was prescribing a large quantity of medication and was not helping. I had talked to my primary Dr. and he told me about a medication that he felt would help and so at my next appointment I told Dr. Ninala about it and he had to google the medication, what kind of Pain management Dr. has to google a pain medication? He told me what he would always tell me when we would have the medication change discussion “I don’t feel comfortable prescribing that.” I work for a pain management Dr. and I know that there is more than just 2 types of pain meds out there. Dr. Ninala is not only a liar but unethical, he will make it seem as if you are the problem as if you are the one abusing your medication which is not the case. Dr. Ninala is not in this… profession for the care of patients but for the money. You Spend more time in the waiting area than with him in your appointment. If you want to get better and want to have your pain managed go to a different Dr. so you can hopefully have somewhat of a life while gut case gets resolved.

STOP & find another Dr will not help you get well! Trying to be an advocate and support to my brother in law and sister, I attended an appointment with them. After asking the Dr to put pieces together for me so that I may understand why it has been over a year since an accident and Dr. Ninala failed to see the urgency of someone with a TBI nor has he I was going to record him, that I needed to leave his office. Then preceded to the door and told me to get out of his office. Totally uncaring and unprofessional. Any Dr should encourage patients to record appointments due to the information a person is given, which is impossible to remember every detail.
