Dr. Ranjana Nigalye, MD

Dr. Nigalye is a nice , smart lady who truly cares for her patients. She takes her time and is good to followup on things. The staff are all nice and the office is very clean.

I never have to wait too long to get in to see the doctor. Once in the room, she takes time to go over your chart and medications with you. She is very thorough and very personable. I have no complaints about the office staff. Always friendly and willing to help.

Very unfriendly and blatantly rude receptionist. The most hostile Dr's rooms I have visited. I would never recommend this practice - and they are ALWAYS hrs behind schedule and do not even have the common decency to apologize for having you wait forever. I got there 9 minutes late for an appointment, to which I apologized and was told they cannot see me that day because I was late. I asked the receptionist IF the patient that was before me had gone in yet and was told "no" that there are/were a few patients before me who are still waiting to see the Dr. I asked her why I then cannot wait as I am then technically "not late" as they did not call or wait on me, to which she became rude and told me; "you were late and you need to make another appointment". It is honestly NOT uncommon to wait an 1 to 2.5 hrs AFTER your appointment time to "get in and see the doctor" - (seems the receptionist - perhaps the Dr too, thinks she is part of the God-head). I left and transferred to another Dr.… where they have a FRIENDLY, helpful receptionist, AND they are mostly ON TIME. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to see my new Dr. Once he took a little longer to get to me once the nurse took my vitals, and he apologized for me having to wait - that is called decency and mutual respect for the other person's time.

I absolutely think Dr. Ranjana Nigalye is the greatest doctor in Brownwood Texas. She spends a lot of time on your files and she doesn't rush you through like cattle...I love the fact that you can talk with her and she listens
