Dr Chacko one the best...unfortunately he is retiring

Dr. Chacko is an excellent physician and I am fortunate to have him as my psychiatrist. He listens well, always has a good knowledge of my medical history and gives excellent advice

Judgmental and doesn't know how to treat anxiety conditions. Maria and rest of staff don't answer and hang up when you call. Avoid.

I've been seeing Dr. Chacko for about 18 years. Before seeing him, I went to doctor after doctor trying to find out what was wrong with me, tons of different medicine and nothing worked. Dr. Chacko knew immediately what my condition was and put me on medication I've been taking 18 years now and have been able to function.

Our daughter was going to a behavioral health hospital in another town in Texas. She was getting worse, and not better. We called Dr. Chacko's office, per someone's recommendation. We asked if we could send her files to him for review, and did. His assistant said he definitely wanted to see our daughter. His office was working on getting her an appointment, when we had to take her to Houston Methodist ER. He took her on as his patient immediately. He showed us how her original diagnosis was incorrect. Her meds were at a toxic level and her thyroid was starting to fail, as well. She was admitted, under his care. God used Dr. Chacko to save our daughter's life! He is personable, approachable, encouraging, humble, and extremely intelligent. He explains every step of his patients' care, and questions are always welcome. We will forever be grateful for him and his excellence of care! We are blessed to know him! Dr. Chacko is extremely caring, competent and has an excellent bedside manner. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is suffering from depression and anxiety. He listens to his patients and has an amazing staff person that is there for you as well.
