Dr. Ranjit Singh Dhaliwal, MD

When I first saw Dr Dhaliwal, I had had two previous surgeries to reattach my retina. After the second surgery my retina was 75% detached with three big holes and folded over. Dr Dhaliwal successfully reattached my retina and my eye is healing perfectly without scar tissuethree months post-op. He has experience dealing with challenging situations. I thank God for Dr dhaliwal. He is worth the wait. He explains everything very well and takes the time to answer every question.

The wait time is insane. 3-5 hour wait is unacceptable. Then to be treated with disrespect or even disdain is unacceptable. That long a wait is not worth even a good visit from this pompous man. If you cant manage your time, the patient suffers. Walk away!

Dr. Dhaliwal is skilled but severely lacks in acceptable human interaction and time management. There are zero excuses for having patients wait 4 1/2hrs or raising his voice to an elderly patient and treating them like a child. I was completely shocked and hurt at how he belittled my family member! If her retina surgery had not already been done, we would go elsewhere!

Dr. Dhaliwal is one of those very rare finds in medicine. He is a doctor who cares about giving good medical service. The wait times can be long----because he is treating someone that was urgent. He is one of the few doctors I know of that works as hard at his job as I do at mine. He remains and his staff remain until every patient is seen. If that is 10PM on Friday evening, so be it. I won't go to another retinal specialist. I'll wait as long as it takes to see him. You take your time Dr. I saw someone else prior to Dr. Dhaliwal, that person left me with severely reduced vision in one eye. I've seen Dr. Dhaliwal for several years and many visits. His treatment has allowed me to continue my life! His qualifications and background are exemplary and we are fortunate to have him in the Augusta area. I'd rather have a long line, and a few hard working dedicated doctors, than many of the quacks and bozos our there.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dhaliwal for 18 years. He has remained committed to helping me preserve my vision. Dr. Dhaliwal is the only doctor that I trust with my eyes. Wait times are long, but that is because he has multiple practices in several cities in order to provide care to as many patients as possible. Ultimately the question is do you want quick or quality.

I have been a patient over 4 years as I was referred to Dr Dhaliwal with wet macular degeneration for treatment. With treatment by injections and his expert knowledge my vision has been stable. He truly cares about his patients and puts them first. His staff reflects the same caring attitude. I would recommend Dr Dhaliwal as the finest retina specialist in our community as we are blessed to have him here.

Dr. Dhaliwal is the greatest! He has saved my eyesight. Dr. Dhaliwal always explains what I am experiencing and takes all the time needed for me to understand. This is the Doctor to see if you want to see.

I have had several eye issues over the years . The doctor has operated on both eyes due to retina tears, scar tissue, a macular pucker and most recently a flawed cataract surgery. Dr. Dhaliwal has corrected all issues with accuracy and skill. I have a great respect and admiration for him and his talent. Yes, the waiting time can be long due to patient emergencies, dilation time and the fact that he only comes to our town once a week and has a lot of patients referred to him. Overall, the end result that you can see well again is worth any inconvenience.

Arrogant, no bedside manners and condescending. Would not give him 1 star at all. Waited 5 hours or more to be seen on normal days. People can find something better. Lacks patience but patients are expected to wait. Doors always open so HIPAA is being violated on a continuous basis.
