Dr. Raoul Tibes, MD

Dr. Tibes has been treating my MDS. He is extremely professional and gives me and my family the time we need with him for all our questions. He never rushes us out of his office. He is extremely thorough at each visit. He has blood work drawn in the office before he comes in and schedules me for my transfusions same day if needed. He seems to have options for me other than what I was able to receive with my prior doctors on Staten Island. He is a wonderful man with a terrific bed side manner.

My mother was diagnosed with AML, and Dr. Tibes was recommended to us by various professionals for her care. He has been very thorough in explaining treatment options and strategies, and has been very honest about potential outcomes. Fantastic bedside manner, and takes the time to work through any concerns I or my mother have.

Dr. Tibes is a highly knowledgeable passionate and sincere scientist. He has excellent bedside manners. His priority is patient’s wellbeing. As a patient I felt to be in good hands, I felt comfortable and safe.
