Dr. Raquel Marie Apodaca, MD

Great doctor , my daughter has seen her since she was born and she is now 5 and still loves seeing the doctor. She is great with kids and putting them and the parents at ease.

I am a pharmacist who filled a Rx from this Dr. When I received a Rx from this Dr for a 3 week old baby, I noticed the dose was rather high. Upon calling the dr to verify the dose, the dr was very defensive and belittling, with the "how dare you question me, I'm going to prove you wrong" tone. when she realized that she over dosed the medication by 5x, she blamed it on not prescribing the medication very often and how she prefers to prescribe pills so that she doesn't have to do calculations. This was an unprofessional and ridiculous excuse. As a pharmacist, my role is to double check the Dr's work, and work togther with them to make patients better. I don't call over to the physicians when verifying prescriptions, accusing them or showing them up by saying or pointing out that they're wrong. I call over to make sure the patient is getting what they need, in a safe and effective dose. We are all human, and all make mistakes, let's just all work together for the patients, shall… we?

Both doctors in the clinic (Apodaca and Davidson) are amazing doctors. I have three children that seem them and have never had to wait for an appointment. I have had same day appointments numerous times. Both doctors take their time and will do everything in their power to help.
