Dr. Raquel Brener Dardik, MD

I have seen Dr Dardik for some time now, but only because she is the only GYN at NYU who ever had appointment openings. Well, there’s a reason. She is fine for an annual if nothing is amiss, but for any real questions or concerns Dr Dardik has an astonishingly poor bedside manner. I have chronic pain that other doctors have repeatedly said must be related to one of my ovaries, but Dr Dardik never does anything to address or even diagnose this, no matter how often I bring it up. A nurse from her office called to give ultrasound results that said I might have serious fertility problems, but gave no additional info or support. When I called back the doctor herself, she provided essentially no additional information. Now, as I try to get pregnant, she has basically no advice. Honestly, as I write this I get madder and madder that I’ve ever gone back to her.

Dr. Dardik is a warm person and a provides great medical care. I highly recommend her.

Basically threw me out of the office because I had not had sex yet, and refused to see me even though I was 25 and should still be seeing an OBGYN for checkups.

For two years I expressed concern about an ailment I was having which seemed "off" For two years all I heard from Dr Dardik was "nothing to worry about". I went again, at the end of 2018, complaining of vaginal bleeding, a new ailment--She then FINALLY heard me and did the proper testing, which showed that I indeed had endometrial cancer. The only good thing Dardik did was refer me to a wonderful gyno/surgeon/oncologist. I am fine now--after a complete hysterectomy and 5 rounds of radiation. I would never recommend Dr Dardik to anyone,

Went to see this doctor with symptoms of Peri menopause. She did my blood work, said that as hormone levels were fine there was nothing wrong. VIctorian medicine at its best - disregard the woman and her symptoms. Which, by the way, flies in the face of all the latest studies that recommend treating Peri menopause on stated symptoms rather than hormone levels as they can be so hard to assess on single blood tests. So dismissive AND out of date. Buyer beware.

Will be looking for a new doc who will take the time to talk to me about my meds and symptoms. Is hard to find a caring doctor who takes my insurance. Dardik is a perfectly fine doctor, but she does not seem to care about me and is dismissive of my questions and concerns. Visits are rushed and frustrating.

Back in May I was scheduled an appointment since previous GYN wasnt successful was given a list of questions to ask regarding a procedure which had never happened before rather not mention details i had explained afterwards to bring my parent in so we all three could discuss answers to how procedure should be done although the dr misunderstood and brought my parent in the room then claimed i had said i did not want the personal procedure done which wasnt entirely true that s how drama began so my parent was furious with me and after several months found out from my medication doctor Dr Dardik explained doesnt want to have anything to do with me as a patient any longer which I thought was un professional i m not being mean i understand some people may find the Dr helpful although after my experience I would not think of returning to the place. I am hoping for the best the third GYN wont experience an incident like this again my parent is trying to find a new Gyn which would have been my… third . I am humiliated after what happened all because I had never had an IUD that s how drama began.

Dr. Dardick turned me away for being a virgin despite being 23 and needing an OBGYN

Made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, worked efficiently, and the staff was lovely. Dr. Dardik's demeanor is cheerful and puts you at ease.
