Dr. Rasheshkumar Bhailalbhai Dholakia, MD

This doctor is way overpriced and did nothing to help my daughter. He prescribed medications and openly admitted that it probably wouldn’t help. She ended up in the hospital for that terrible mistake! Worse doctor we have ever seen but he sure has a good bedside manner!

My daughter began struggling with anxiety and depression in the fall of 2016, and it took a serious toll on her desire to be alive. I reached out in desperation to several professionals, not expecting a rapid response, if any. Dr. Dholakia made himself available immediately. He took time to carefully listen to my daughter and to us, then provided valuable feedback that included immediate action plans. Knowing that Dr. Dholakia genuinely cared about her well-being kept my daughter going. Had it not been for his extraordinary knowledge, compassion and support, I do not know if she would be here today. I am humbled and deeply grateful for all he has done. My daughter still sees Dr. Dholakia as her treatment is periodically adjusted. She continues to improve under his care and is adjusting well to college life, something we didn’t remotely think possible just a couple of years ago. I have no doubt that Dr. Dholakia will continue to positively impact the lives of his patents… and their families. There may be many kind-hearted psychiatrists in this world, but he is truly exceptional.

This doctor should not be in psychiatry as he does not understand the nature of the psychiatric patient. He is thin skinned and very easily insulted. All I did was question him on something and he became very nasty. I think patients have a right to question their treatment and what they should expect from it, and also be able to let a doctor know that the treatment is not working for them. He exacerbated my anxiety and PTSD because he made me so much more nervous and frightened by his attitude. He can't be trusted to work with patients who are intelligent enough to ask questions. DOES NOT FOLLOW UP!!!!
