Rathi Joseph, DO received her medical degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Christ Medical Center, followed by her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. She also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Joseph is triple board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports medicine, and pain management, and a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Joseph has particular expertise in the area of pain management for sports medicine-related conditions. Her education and experience benefit athletes who have experienced an injury or suffer from a chronic pain condition. Dr. Joseph's goal is to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all skill levels increase their level of performance and help them enjoy their sport …again.

Very compassionate and understanding. She always remembers all the details of my case from one appointment to the next. Takes the time to answer all of my questions and explain treatments in detail. Dr. Joseph has an impressive level of knowledge and is even able to discuss procedures that are not offered in detail. She is warm and friendly and kind. She is definitely a top caliber provider.

She was very quick to get my 1st appt. She was very concerned with not just treating my pain and other issues but for coming up with a permanent solution instead of the same old treatment I had been receiving. Her office always followed up with my visits just to check on me. If you need help and want to solve the problem this is whom I would recommend

Dr. Joseph has acting very condescending to me. She is impatient when asked questions, does not explain procedures or recovery expected. She is not an anesthesiologist and does not appear to be board certified in Pain Management, this concerns me because of the invasive procedures she does.

Dr. Joseph is very condescending and impatient when asked any questions. She does not explain the procedures or what to expect after. She actually scolded me like I was 5 years old, yet I am an extremely compliant patient. She is not an anesthesiologist, nor does she appear to be certified in pain management, which concerns me due to the invasive procedures she does.

She is very condescending, several times scolded me like I was a 5 year old. She does not explain procedures and when asked questions becomes impatient and again very condescending. She is not an anesthesiologist and appears not to even be certified in pain arrangement which concerns me due to the invasive procedures she is doing.

Prescribes unnecessary tests for the money. Wants to do procedures for the money. Not really interested in treating patients
