MY kids and grandkids go to Dr. Prakash. I trust no other Dr. Wonderful relationship he has with them and the office staff was friendly and very pleasant.

Due to the closing of Dr. Schoon office. I took a chance on transferring my children to Dr. Prakash. My oldest son who is ten is very scared of needles and blood. On his first visit with prakash my baby had to get to shots ( he was terrified). Any parent would think that a doctor who has been in the Field for 25 years would know how to treat a child who is scared NOT THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!! He told my son if he gave him any problems " he was going to get the big needles that would go through his bone and cut his arm off". Of couse i knew he was joking but my terrfied child did not. This made the situation worse. I have never seen my son so scared and scream so loud it took my self and the two other nurse's ( who were very rude) to hold him down. Let me say this. It got worse and I requested my children's records and will not be bringing them BACK!!

Dr prakash is an excellent doctor and a family man. He always find the time to talk to me and and my children. He makes us feel at ease and he is very easy to talk to. He always makes the kids life and talk to them about school and sports. I'll definitely refere him as the greatest pediatrician.

This doctor will give children ADHD medications without testing for other causes or follow up blood work to check for potential liver problems that can occur from the medications. Anyone can bring your child to him and sign for treatment. And he definately likes to sell parents on inhalers.

My son has seen Dr. Prakash since birth. I can call in and get an appointment the next day with no issues. He is extremely good with my child. If I have questions he does not hesitate to answer them. Dr. Prakash always makes sure I understand what is needed for my child to become the little boy he is. My son does have issues and he has always referred me to the agencies who can help. He has recommended my son to see a specialist and his staff had worked to find one as the one I needed is not common in the state. I am a first time mother so I have called in many times and the staff has always been patient with me. If it is necessary for me to speak with Dr. Prakash he does call me back. I have had no issues with him as a doctor and have found him to be an extremely competent doctor. I would and have recommended him as a primary doctor to others.

I deal with Dr. Prakash on a personal and professional level. Dr. Prakash has been my children's pediatrician for the past 6 years. He's got a good sense of humor and he is good with my kids. I find him to be very intelligent. From a professional standpoint, I have found that he and his staff work well with other providers and agencies in the community, they have been responseive and caring. Dr. Prakash has been right on the mark with diagnoses and he will tell you whether or not there is an issue, even if you do not want to believe it. (I think this is why he was underrated.) I've learned to believe he is right, because he has proven to be over the years.

Went to this doctor because my normal pediatrician was closed and Prakash was the 'on-call' doctor. My son has a history of strep throat and was complaining of a sore throat. Prakash spent approximately one minute examinging my son. He looked in his nose, at his throat and had him breathe twice while he listened to his lungs. Prakash diagnosed my son with asthma and handed me a prescription for $100.00 worth of inhalers and asthma meds. The story is much longer, but suffice it to say I called my regular doctor the next day and my son does not have asthma. I did some additional research and found that he has a habit of diagnosing perfectly healthy children with asthma.

I am disappointed that Dr. Prakash always wants to prescribe an inhaler for almost every ailment. My children do not have asthma and the inhalers have never helped. I wish he knew more and talked more and thought to seek answers for problems that he tries to push inhalers on.For general visits, exams, checkups, etc, he is fine.

my son has many many different kinds of problems ranging from allergies to significant developmental delays to a disease of his esophagus and many more to be diagnosed. Dr. Prakash has been his primary physician since he was 6 months old and has always been there for my son getting him treatment from specialists in home and out of home. He has recommended my son for different programs to help him with his developmental delays, different doctors and hospitals to figure out whats wrong and how to treat it. I could go on and on but it would take forever to write. So I will finish by saying if it wasnt for Dr.Prakash and his staff my son would either be deaf, blind and mute and without any capability of movement and without any understanding of emotions. Dr. Prakash and his staff have gone out of their way many many times to make sure everything that can be done is and not put off to the side like many other practices do. They deal with it head on and dont back down until all is good.
