Absolutely horrible visit. My sister was experiencing a neurological crisis with symptoms worsening while at his office and he truly could not have given more of an impression that he didn’t care. He was an hour and a half late, with no apology, and then saw her for all of 3 minutes, during which he barely paid attention to her. When his office received MRI scans she had done, he didn’t call us to go over the results, so we ended up needing to speak with a different, much better neurologist. She was actively losing control over half her face while in his office and he was completely unhelpful and unkind, as was his PA. Do not go here.

never answers, refuses to give you your medical information.

The doctor is good, listens, and show care about his patients needs. The location has mostly everything in the same office. So most testing necessary can be handled in office. The staffs, especially in medical records are beyond horrible, a negative star wasn't possible. First incident, a record was requested, and they took 2 Months to release the record to the doctor sharing the same office space with them. 2 MONTHS, after 3 release forms and endless physical appeals for the records. Second, SSD office requested a letter on behalf of my mom. I faxed the request needed, and then my mom dropped it off. Called them, and got a call back days later stating it would take a week to get the letter. 1 1/2 week from drop off date, I am told to wait another 2 weeks because the doctor left the country and didn't get to sign the letter. When asked why, because the office manager never typed up the letter and as of 2 days ago the doctor left. So for 1.5 weeks, she never typed the letter, and my… mom's disability appointment is due in 2 days. No letter for God knows when. If you can't handle large volume of workload, don't take the job. I worked in Medicaid, DYCD NYC, all if not 70-150 requests per day is the norm, and no B.S like that happens. Especially when a person visited the office days after days for a letter you promised that you never intended to type. The worst staffs ever, good doctor but staff service make it not worth it to come to the office. On top of that they will lie that they didn't tell you this date, or go back on everything. If you are diagnosed and need that info to get another doctor, medication, or assistance to help with you condition, you will die and be burried before they get to doing it. So his great service and diagnosis means nothing if you cannot move forward because you can't prove your condition waiting on paperwork.

With scheduled appointments your wait time is over an hour. They have a sign posted stating they apologize for delays they are giving their patients the utmost care, but when your actually called to see the doctor the treatment and care is unforeseen. When trying to call the office your always asked to hold after holding for 20 or more minutes the operator usually hangs up on you. When you do have a chance to speak with a receptionist they are in courteousness. This office is unprofessional.

one of the worst doctor, first he gave misdiagnose, second the time spent on waiting took 5 hrs. Dr. Tikoo had/have more than 2 dozens patients so everytime they needed to speed up. He spent time w/his patient for 2 min. to read the notes/results and then he wl tell to have an appt for the next mo.

we had an appointment with my 7 year old at 2:00pm. so did 25 other people! we waited for hours to see the DR. at which time her said my son needed an MRI. I had to wait another hour for the script for the appointment. it was a total of 4 hours to see the doctor for 10 minutes. we scheduled our appointment with the hospital, called Dr Tikoo office and told them to send all they needed to send. two days before his appointment, the hospital called and said that they have been trying to reach the doctors office because they never sent the paper work needed. they asked if I could call. after trying to get a hold of someone, I finally did and I was told that the Dr. never sent his notes. this happen two times and the end of the story is no MRI and no help for my son!

Dr Tikoo is a good Doctor. But his office is a complete MESS! You will wait at least 3 -5 hours to see the doctor even if you have a set appointment! He books 100 patients a day! Really he does. The staff is slow and not helpful at all. Everything is a process. You first go and talk to a tech then he tells you to go outside and wait to be called again which will take at least another 3 hours literally! The office smells and is just by far the worst office I have ever been to. This is every appointment as well. Its not like they just have a bad day. Its a bad day everyday at Dr Tikoos office!

Overcrowded and far too many patients the same day. But he is the best in the field.

Horrible experience. Took 2 hours to get CALL thru to office for seizure med refill. Receptionist was almost incompetent. Put me on hold - which resulted in it hanging up. After me calling again she spoke to me in a foreign language even tho I was speaking English. Get another doctor - you don't want to deal with this nonsense. (This is my first negative review of a doctor.)
