Dr. Ravindra Vegunta

Dr. Vegunta saved my newborn sons life. My son was born with biliary atresia, and Dr. Vegunta recommended the kasai procedure to treat this condition. (Without this procedure my son would be enduring severe cirrhosis to his liver, and qualify for a liver transplant). However, the kasai procedure was a success, and the effects of biliary atresia have been slowed immensely. Doctors at Phoenix Children Hospital say that my son is thriving, showing no negative effects from biliary atresia, and is a model patient for success. Words can't begin to express our gratitude to Dr. Vegunta.

A wonderful man who really takes the time to explain everything. Very caring and his staff is just as wonderful. My oldest had the Nuss procedure done by him and we are so blessed she has been doing amazing. We have another daughter who also sees him for a chest wall deformity and he monitors her changes while she wears a pectus brace.

Dr,Vagunta performed the sistrunk operation on my 22 month old daugther yesterday morning, she had a thyroid duct cyst. The operation was estimated to be about 2 hours long. It was finished in about an hour, which was amazing since i was so nervous and scared. He helped make me feel comfortable and he is by far the BEST doctor/surgeon EVER. He did such an amazing job with my daugther she was even eating soon after her surgery and hasnt been in any pain since we got home today. Her recovery has been going great and im am So thankful for Dr.Vagunta that words can not even explain.

I am a general surgeon; Dr. Vegunta trained me. I made him promise (even though he is a pediatric surgeon) that if I personally ever required surgery that he would take care of me. He is technically top echelon, has unbelievable clinical acumen, and is so very caring. I would literally fly to Mesa (or send my children there) from the midwest to be treated by him...again, as an adult. You would be a fool to have your child see anyone else, and would have no one to blame but yourself. Don't make that mistake.

Great doctor. He is a most professional ,caring , and patient doctor I have seen. He has just done Appendectomy for my 11 years old son 2 weeks ago. My son is healthy as normal and all family are very happy now.It was a excellent experience. Thank you , Doctor Vegunta.

Dr. Vegunta is the most caring doctor I have ever met. My daughter was only three weeks old when she became sick. I thank God everyday that it was Dr. Vegunta who, by fate, was at her rescue that night. It has been six years now and everytime we visit, no matter how long it has been, Dr. Vegunta and his office staff greats us by name and treats us like family. Anyone would be lucky to know him.
