Dr. Ray Lin, MD

Dr. Lin is a beautiful person as well as an exceptional doctor! He is genuinely caring, compassionate and professionally knowledgeable. He is responsive to questions I have sent him or called him about and he addresses them clearly and thoroughly. Dr. Lin not only gets excited about the new treatments available but also almost jumps for joy when he sees his patients doing well. After any tests or scans he has ordered, he contacts me right away rather than keeping me in suspense and emotionally challenged. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this exceptional person and doctor! We are so so blessed to have him at San Diego's MD Anderson Cancer Clinic!

I have never experienced such inefficient, awful care. This is a doctor who does not follow up with his patients, in fact, he figures out a way of blaming them for him not returning calls. He takes no responsibility. He treats people medically and then leaves them in the dust. A doctor who does not think, follow through, or care for his patients is a doctor who should be avoided. He not only doesn't care, but overlooked my breast cancer. A year later, I returned with Stage 3 breast cancer. His arrogance trumps all.

Throughout my journey with breast cancer, Dr. Lin was the consummate professional; warm and friendly, while exhibiting the highest standards of care. He and his staff were amazing and made me feel safe and confident that I was receiving the absolute best treatment possible. I moved out of the area, but continue to return for my check ups; I can't imagine going anywhere else.

After I was diagnosed with N-S Lung Cancer Stage IIIb my life depended on Dr. Ray Lin's expertise and experience. I was scared to death, but 5 minutes into meeting Dr. Lin for the first time I felt relieved and comfortable with him because of his great knowledge. He met every one of my concerns with respect and fully answered all of my questions. He never rushed through a conversation and was never arrogent. Besides being an excellent radiologist Dr. Lin is a caring doctor and a nice man. He is the very best at what he does. Dr. Ray Lin saved my life. I'm forever grateful and can't thank him enough.
