Dr. Ray Michael Wyman, MD

I had a medium heart attack at 80 years of age after having really never having my heart looked at previously. Torrance Memorial did a great job of getting me in thru the Emergency Room and getting me stabilized. An exploratory procedure found heavy calcification of my arteries resulting in 3 blockages of 60-80% and 1 blockage of 100% (Chronic Total Occlusion, CTO) of my LAD and a good amount of diseased heart muscle as a result. Seemingly there were few good solutions before the case was referred to Dr. Wyman. From the onset, he was confident he could correct it all. We did our research (online reviews, local cardiologists) and its true what you seen online regarding Dr. Wyman. He’s very good, diligent, and an expert in CTO procedures. I would go as far to say if your local cardiologist said an angioplasty with stent wasn’t available for your CTO etc, it would be worth your time and effort to go see him. It took 2 procedures and multiple hours each time, but Dr. Wyman got… everything open and returned me to 100% blood flow in my heart arteries. I can’t say enough about his dedication to me and him going the extra mile.

I had a heart attack 15 years ago. When I was wheeled into the ER, I was told I was lucky because Dr. Wyman was on call that night and he was "the best." They were right. He saved my life. He always answers my questions. I have found him to be compassionate and kind. He is a brilliant doctor in his field and also has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him. You will be in good hands.

Doctor wyman is the best I had block artery which three doctors after two surgery could not open Doctor Wyman opened the block artery I feel great without his help my problem would lead to heart attack.. he is an excellent cardiologist

He is the best of the best I had artery blockage and I saw 3 doctors and I had two surgeries they could not open the blockage he was able to open the Blockage, he knows his field very very well he saved my life. he is the best of the best.

Not friendly at all and spent little time in room. I will give it another try because I hear he is one of the best but he really does need to be a little more friendly and have compassion when he is treating peoples vital organ. Needs to ask if patient has questions before darting out the door.

Rude, abrupt and sarcastic. Prescribed medicine without explanation of side effects or proper use. Will not answer any question and puts the patient in danger from not knowing the proper use of the medication he prescribes. He lets patient feels that he has limited time to spend with them. He has an angry serious looking face with no smile that you will feel uncomfortable in his presence.

Dr Wyman is a no-nonsense professional - says it like it is and then he fixes what needs to be fixed! He is Great!!! He is respected among his peers and that's the kind of Doctor I want taking care of my heart!!! I highly recommend his skills!

This guy is EXTREMELY rude and arrogant. He is not a good physician and spends no time answering questions or explaining anything to patients. He acts as if you are wasting his time. With so many smart and thoughtful cardiologists in the South Bay, this is certainly one jerk to avoid at all costs.

I had one examination with Dr. Wyman, and that was more then enough. I encountered the same rudeness and condescension as others on this thread have noted. It was so bad that I almost walked out. I don't know how much skill he has as a cardiologist, but his "bedside manner" left much to be desired. I will NOT see him again.

I really don't recommend this doctor to any body pleas do your home work before let this doctor do any kind of sergery
