Dr. Raymond Leo Mccue

The absolute worst gynecologist I have ever dealt with. He was over an hour late for the appointment. Seemed to only gloss over my medical records, confusing information, saying he'd treated me before when he had not. Barely addressed why I came in for an appointment, did a ridiculously fast pelvic exam in less than a minute, and seemed to want to make me take medication for something which was not why I came in to see him. Would never go back to him. Would never recommend him to anyone for anything. Very rude and rushed and seemingly irritable. If you want a gynecologist who does not listen to you, talks over you, tries to push their agenda on you, without much care for you personally, then go to this guy. Otherwise, stay far away.

Dr. McCue has been my GYN for a number of years. I don't mind waiting for him because he always asks questions and listens to me as well. If he spends a little more time with someone else, I can overlook that. Recently he discovered I had a major medical problem, and wasted no time in getting it taken care of. I trust him even more now!

I have been a patient of Dr McCue's since 1993. I moved out of Manassas and happily drive the 1-hour to his office. He is knowledgeable, caring and puts forth extra effort. He has even helped me find *good* other doctors (general practice, cardiologist)

A few yrs ago I had unexplained pelvic pain. Horrible pelvic pain. It turned out one of my ovaries was caught in "spider webs" and needed to be removed.I trusted my Dr. He said it needed to be removed, he would do it with a 2 tiny incisions.I awoke to about an 8 in scar on my abdomen and him saying "sorry, I was back to back with cesareans". What did that mean? Out of habit he cut me open, or was he in a hurry to get to another cesarean?To make matters worse the wound became infected and pain worse than before. THEN he told me that the surgery wasn't that bad. When I called for a follow up a Ms. Jankins told me he was too busy to see me, when I called for my records she said it would be in excess of $100.00 to get them. I just let it go. Now I am sorry I did. Anyone else have similar story? He is a very "kind" Dr.......until he isn't.
