Dr. Raymond John Meeks, MD

I met Dr. Meeks when he was my grandson's doctor for hand surgery. Dr. Meeks was excellent, Always explained everything and really cared about his patient. I had an emergency surgery with a rod attached to my knee and hip. The original doctors office later told me I needed a full knee replacement on that same knee. I went to see Dr. Meeks and he told me I absolutely did not need a knee replacement. He just needed to remove a screw that had moved through the bone and was cutting into my knee. He removed the screw and I have been fine since. I am very thankful to Dr. Meeks for his caring and honesty. He is a wonderful doctor.

I have had surgery performed by Dr. Meeks 5 times. I tell all my friends that if they need to see an orthopedic doctor, that he is the man to see. He doesn't try to rush me to get to another patient. A lot of them do. If I have a question, he answers it for me. I feel very comfortable with him. I think he generally cares about his patients and I feel that I was lucky enough to find him. On a scale from #1 to #10, he is a #10.
