Even after my wife and I moved to Tennessee we have called him with questions and he is always very accommodating. Is has been very difficult to accept another family physician because none of them measure up. Even when we lived in Florida and moved an hour and a half away we continued to drive to Palmetto to see him. My wife and I miss him very much.

Dr. Raitz was my Doctor for 12 yrs. I have recently moved to another state and miss him very much. HE took care of our family of 3 including my daughter with special needs. HE is the kindest most caring Doctor I have ever had and always referred us to the best specialist. HE diagnosed me correctly with things many other doctors missed. Everything I needed was here. THE staff is wonderful. Truly miss our Doctor.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Raitz since 1997 and we have had nothing but excellent experiences in our dealings with him. He clearly cares and takes time to listen to and understand our problems. He is a truly caring physician.

Dr. Raitz has done at least one questionable thing that I can't go into here without making it too easy to identify me. He has about a 10 second window for listening to your question before branching out on a tangent that ignores what you were saying for his own purposes. I don't think he's a bad guy, just doesn't care much anymore for what his patients think. He is happy to hear himself drone on and on and ignore what I am saying to him about prescribed medicine. He has prescribed medicine my insurance won't accept without prior authorization, and then their practice is understaffed so that I'm told they'll get to my request for authorization when the stack of other requests is complete. They clearly do not have time to care about the needs of their patients. After seven months of clerical incompetence and breaches of privacy, I'm done with the whole practice.
